Cavs & Miami talking? (BW, Broussard: not true)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Re: Cavs & Miami talking?

Did you see the Cavs/Celtics series last year? KG pretty much did what he wanted to do correct? AV cannot guard KG. When KG get's the ball at the high post and turn and face the basket, AV is in trouble in he know's it and everyone on the Cavs bench knows it. AV doesn't have the lateral movement to guard the foot work of a KG. I think u are getting this confused with the AV/Rasheed Wallace match-up. IMO KG can take AV any time he wants so getting under his skin is here and there.

I never said He shut him down offensively, I said he doesn't take his typical KG crap. Andy is more than willing to match KG physically around the basket. Will he hold KG to 8 points and 3 boards...NO...I never said he would I simply said he is the kind of defender that doesn't take KG's crap. Which is simply something we don't have anywhere else and like someone else mentioned who has shut down KG to this point. Sorry for the confusion.

Re: Cavs & Miami talking?

Welcome back from your ban. Remember that AV was nursing a bad ankle in the playoffs. Say hi to your mother for me.

LOL, I didn't even know I was banned until Saturday......But hurt ankle or not, it doesn't matter. AV cannot guard KG and that's pretty much as simple as it gets. For every good play AV makes on KG, KG makes about 6 good plays on AV. It's almost a mismatch a both ends of the court.

My mother says "Hello", she also said send her your resume when you're done with your $5.25/hr "internet gig". lmaoooooooooo!!

Glen only pays us 60 grand a year... utter disrespect, if you ask me. Actually, I'm kidding, every mod does this out of the kindness of their hearts for free. I've always been very open about my personal life, and I pay the bills as one of the premier English teachers in San Francisco public schools.

Perhaps I crossed the line with the mom joke, but I just saw Sandberg's SNL skit online where he portrays Mark Whalberg talking to barnyard animals... flippin' hilarious.

All KG did all series is shoot jumpers from the elbow off of other players penetration. He can be guarded. He is obviously still very good, but he isn't that great anymore.

I'll take our chances with KG in the post vs Ben or AV. It's him getting wide open jumpers that I can't stand.

Anyways..... I was watching ESPNews and some Boston radio guy was asked who could the Celtics least afford to lose.... and the idiot said Rajon Rondo. RAJON RONDO. I know the kid has improved. I actually think he is very good and a top tier PG in the East, but Rondo????

There were 2 other people on there. Someone from Cleveland and some chick. They both said the obvious answer is KG because of the defense and leadership. The Cavs guy then said it doesn't matter anyways because they aren't stopping LeBron, Cavs in 7!!! He was a tool.

The Boston guy said their big 3 is KG, PP, and Rondo now, and Ray Allen is just a role player. I have always wanted Rondo since I saw him play in college. It was obvious how great of a defender he could become. If he ever gets a consistent jumper, then watch out, he will be great.

I am glad the Marion rumors are false, but we still need a trade. We need a SG or PF that can score. I would prefer a SG.

Ya cause all role players go off for 30 every few games and constantly put up 20 points.

Allen is definetly declining but he is more than a role player

Agreed. Don't know how one comes to the conclusion that Ray Allen is now a role player for Boston. Especially considering that this emphasizes that he wasn't a role player for them last year but now is. Last year he averaged 17.4 a game on 44.5% shooting. So far this year he's putting up 18.6 on 49.7% from the floor with pretty much the same minutes (0.2 less a game). To argue that Rondo (while he is improving vastly at the pg spot) is making Ray Allen merely a role player with his 11 and 7 averages is borderline retarded.

Don't worry about it. These are possibly the same people that said MJ was just a role player during the second Bulls three peat. No lie I have actually heard people say that. Well to an extent it was true, but his role was to lead the team to a championship.

Wow I didnt know his numbers actually went up. That just makes that statement even more dumb than it already was

Av and Wally for Marion im hearing! whos down?

This is just a really bad trade for both clubs, first Marion doesnt fit in the cavs system. Hes turned into a role player whos only good on fast breaks, and spoon fed dunks. the guy misses like 5 easy floaters a game, MIAMI needs a SF or a C, were keeping him for hes expering contract. Haslem is a great defender and a decent jump shooter and beasly is being molded to be a scoring PF...you think Marion is doing bad in Miami, imagine him playing half court offense with the cavs.
