BOS just got through a roller coaster series. Everyone is saying GM 1 is the hardest game of the series but I could easily see BOS coming out flat due to the quick turnaround.
Oh yeah and we have the GOAT so that helps.
Don't call my shot often but I'm calling a Cavs sweep.
Maybe I'm blinded by my hate for all things Celtic but I just don't see how a midget and 11 jags are going to give the Cavs any more trouble than Toronto did.
Most thought they would come out flat against Toronto..just took a quarter and they rev'd it up..Boston may very well come out flat tomorrow, but I’m worried the Cavs will come out rusty.
9.5 days in between games is almost an unprecedented amount of time off for an NBA player, and LeBron has come out and said he feels better when he’s not off for so long.
This is uncharted territory because a team has not had this much time off in several years. Very interested to see how they look.
Another thing- aren't the Cavs on the verge of setting an NBA record for consecutive playoff wins? I'm sure they guys are aware of that.. not ever day you get to cement yourself into the recordbooks like that. Would be a neat achievement and a bit of extra extra motivation to win these games in Boston.
It's fun seeing this thread brimming with confidence.. far cry from how most of us felt 2 months ago.
I'll give Boston a game, maybe two. It wouldn't hurt the Cavs to play a 5-6 games in this series and have a shorter (5-7 days) break before rolling into the GS series.
They have played 8 games in the last 38 days, they are certainly rested at this point.
Now they need to fine tune their skills.
