The fact that Boston is even in this position is absolutely preposterous given their injuries. They're gonna have some tough decisions to make next year when everyone is back healthy. As far as this series, feel like it's going 7 and someone on the Cavs not named James & Love need to sack the fuck up and ball. I don't give two shits if they'll get smacked in the finals, beat, fucking, boston, that's it. Worry about the finals when they're there, if they're there . . .
Yeah James and especially Kevin Love have beasted this series. Poured in a massive 14, 9 and 13 points in his last 3 games on an efficient 35% raw FG%

As far as I'm concerned, we may as well start the offseason talk now. The series is over. Why should I feel differently when they haven't given one piece of evidence that they can win in Boston?

And if LeBron is gassed before a game even starts, it may not even go 7. Watch the start of last night's game again and tell me LeBron had any interest in playing. He was walking everywhere and defensively he was playing like it was game 47 of the regular season. Making the most sloppy passes leading to direct turnovers and not getting back on defense afterwards. But hey, I guess he was gassed from the shoot around.

Rest of the team is always bad on the road but when they follow your leaders example being put forth. Another road demolition takes place.

LeBron's effort on D drives me nuts but if the others are following his example on D then they have no championship pedigree because they sure as hell aren't doing the same on offense. All the best teams are able to hide their best offensive player and let him conserve energy on D but here we are asking a 33 year old with truck milage to protect our paint and be our top scorer

The only thing I took from that game is Lebron threw it. The amount of chances we had to come back and the amount of times he passed it to some shitty roleplayer instead of making something happen was a surefire sign. He knew nobody on the team was making shots.

All-too reminded me of the first time he left Cleveland faking an elbow injury.

I personally cannot blame the guy though this time. Cavs put a horrendous team of nobodies around him. He historically gets tfo when he knows the team has no chance in winning it all.

Only took a couple minutes to see how this would go

Usually I get a feel for a game in the first 5-8 minutes.
Last night didn't feel good at all.
It was strange. Boston didn't do anything different at all, in fact they shot worse yet the Cavs reacted like they knew they couldn't win that game .
If they [played any way like they did the other night they could have pulled this game out.
They never attacked them at all, they just played as if they didn't want to go through it.
Nothing..got nothing from them at all.

I can't get over not having Korver starting and getting 26-30 minutes a game. Lue's stubbornness with JR is costing the Cavs a lot. In yesterday's game, there were countless times where a 3 would have shifted momentum and they constantly missed them.

With Korver starting, JR can come off the bench to be the irrational confidence guy. I still believe more in JR's irrational confidence than I do Clarkson's.

I also hate that Lue didn't bother giving Cedi enough work during the season and postseason to have enough confidence in him to get some of Green's minutes. Cedi has fresh legs and puts in great effort, both of which are badly needed against a team like the Celtics. If both teams are worn down and playing hard, you're going to get these grind out games like we had yesterday and guys like Cedi, TT, and Nance thrive in those situations. Korver has put in A+ effort as well.

After yesterday's game I'm ready for this series to end. If you can't show up on the road then you don't belong in the finals. The Celtics have an excuse, youth. No reason our backcourt has disappeared and choked all 3 games. I wonder if LeBron is over it too. Wouldn't blame him.

I still think we can win the series..

However, it ultimately comes down to the fact we made a trade with them and didn't take away any of their major young talents for Kyrie.

No Brown, No Tatum, heck after the hip issue some of us thought we'd at least get Rozier.

The pick we traded for probably won't be better than the Sacramento pick next year.

To make matters worse is that the playoffs are proving we might have been better off keeping IT, Crowder, Rose, Frye and Wade.

Not like we're playing Zizic or Cedi. Not like we're giving Jose a shot when he was the starter on our best run during the season (I say that as a former Jose hater)

Frye may not match up well with GS, but Boston? How many of those corner 3s would he be making for us right now?

Crowder. Yea he's meh without a system. However, yea I'd rather have him as an option when Jeff Green isn't engaged.

Rose. Rather have him than Clarkson at least he could dribble and get into the paint.

Wade....who cares about his regular season issues. By the playoffs he would have been gold for us.

IT...yep. Would have rather risk him wearing down on us. Maybe he keeps Wade fresh for now. Maybe our training staff does something for him to hold off surgery.

Bottom line we traded 3 guys that can score much better in the playoffs than Clarkson or Hood.

Altman really needed to fight harder for Brown in that trade.

A very pedestrian game from Bron. When LeBron is passing the ball off 30 feet from the hoop you know it's going to be a long game.

But again, a very piss-poor performance from everyone else.

Too much iso from players like JR, Clarkson, and Green.

Add to this shots not falling down from JR and Korver and LeBron not be as aggressive as usual and it's a recipe for disaster.

I mean LeBron is my favorite player always will but even if we get past the Celtics the rockets come out of the West I don't trust him against one of his best friends in Paul. He becomes mental when playing friends. Last game was more than fatigue. From tip he conceded defeat.

If we play the Rockets, the bright side is if we lose he can't go there, would look terrible. If we win there is no point to go. His best options are Philly and Houston, Philly is still viable because we ducked them in the playoffs, but if Houston wins in a roundabout way it eliminates an option for him.

So playing them wouldn't be the worst thing in the world (and Lebron knows this, which is why game 6 will be interesting if HOU takes the lead in the series).
