I still think we can win the series..

However, it ultimately comes down to the fact we made a trade with them and didn't take away any of their major young talents for Kyrie.

No Brown, No Tatum, heck after the hip issue some of thought we'd at least get Rozier.

The pick we traded for probably won't be better than the Sacramento pick next year.

To make matters worse is that the playoffs are proving we might have been better off keeping IT, Crowder, Rose, Frye and Wade.

Not like we're playing Zizic or Cedi. Not like we're giving Jose a shot when he was the starter on our best run during the season (I say that as a former Jose hater)

Frye may not match up well with GS, but Boston? How many of those corner 3s would he be making for us right now?

Crowder. Yea he's meh without a system. However, yea I'd rather have him as an option when Jeff Green isn't engaged.

Rose. Rather have him than Clarkson at least he could dribble and get into the paint.

Wade....who care about his regular season issues. By the playoffs he would have been gold for us.

IT...yep. Would have rather risk him wearing down on us. Maybe he keeps Wade fresh for now. Maybe our training staff does something for him to hold off surgery.

Bottom line we traded 3 guys that can score much better in the playoffs than Clarkson or Hood.

Altman really needed to fight harder for Brown in that trade.
Bottom line.. they came in at the trade deadline and u expect them to go the finals with a new team in a quarter of a season, young and inexperienced players when it comes to the playoffs. Love being injured, lue going out and lue being lue. They have had very very little time with very very little consistency in that time. We have 1.5 allstars not 2.5 anymore. How about adjust your expectations instead of blaming the players. People give the miami heat with lebron a full season of playing time to try and make it to the finals. Does our expectations seem realistic?

If we play with wade it fry etc it would not make a world of difference. It is still fucking garbage on defense... wade is inconsistent like jr. . .frye .. will lue even play him?

The Cavs just are not a very good team in all honesty. They look very good one game and like the Sacremento Kings the next...They are plugging a dam thats ready to burst the best they can with a flawed team...ita a miracle they've gotten this far really

The Cavs ARE a good team. The problem is that they are poorly coached, they did not build good habits in the regular season, and they did not develop the talent that we already have on the roster.

Therefore, we're really good sometimes and really bad other times. That's what you call: inconsistent.

Maybe we found something with Jeff Green posting up (finally)?

If he's not posting up I see no reason to keep Cedi on the bench.

One thing the Cavs are gonna have to do is try and make them pay for starting Baynes and Horford together, especially with TT starting. For as good of a job he does defending Horford, being a negative on offense pretty much negates him, especially for a team that relies on space to get looks.

I mean LeBron is my favorite player always will but even if we get past the Celtics the rockets come out of the West I don't trust him against one of his best friends in Paul. He becomes mental when playing friends. Last game was more than fatigue. From tip he conceded defeat.
He has historically done well against cp3. Wade & Melo early on is where he struggled.

So what's is this story of us having a therapy dog?

Every time Baynes is in the game they need to pick and roll so he switches on LeBron. Attack him and get him off the floor.

No more post ups for TT as well. I'd rather he grab an offensive rebound over Marcus Smart instead of posting up.

I’ve been thinking a lot about this today. Baynes and Horford present a very difficult challenge in that they really take away the middle of the floor, especially when they can help off Tristan. It’s also helpful they can stick Baynes to Tristan and Horford can play Love.

It shrinks us so much offensively.

If Baynes starts I’d be interested in going back to our Toronto starting 5:

Love ~ Baynes
Bron - Horford
Korver - Tatum
JR - Brown
Hill - Rozier

Biggest issue we’d have is defense on the wings, but I believe our offense stretching Baynes and Horford would be a huge challenge for Boston. I think Baynes gets pulled for Morris quickly and then we come with Tristan.

And I’ll just state it because.......Cedi could be really valuable starting for JR. His defense and energy would be really fucking useful.

Lue has to find minutes for Calderon...

This is insanity.....playing clarkson instead of Calderon is worthless.

I agree...game 6 should be risked as a way to win game 7.

The obvious move is to maintain status quo and win game 6 with the same damn lineup...

However the Celtics have countered. We have to recounter and spread the floor for Lebron.

Hill JR Korver Lebron and love has to be the response.

It will open up driving lanes.

By the time that therapy dog is done with this team it will be depressed.

I don't think its a playing Clarkson issue....its a playing Clarkson at PG issue.

Use the bench!

Jose keeps LeBron fresh because he's a real pg. He can actually run the pick and roll.

Don't play Clarkson unless LeBron or Jose are on the floor with him. Instead of Clarkson bringing the ball up the court maybe he should be catching the ball off screens or cuts to the hoop.

Nance
Green
Korver
Clarkson
Jose

Play all of them. Just mix and match well enough to keep LeBron fresh.. Taking away ball handling duties limits LeBrons turnovers and allows for him to get easy baskets.

Yea we know which guys won't show up in game 7. So I'd rather he risk game 6 in order to figure out who could possibly play in game 7.

Then again Lue just threw TT out there in game 7 against the Pacers so who knows.

Lue allowed Stevens to bitch slap him in the face by taking away his Korver matchup. Lue of course had no answer.

Korver has to play 25-30 mins and get up 10+ shots for this team to have a chance (obviously LBJ has to play out of his mind too, and Love needs to have at least 15+).

JR, Hill, TT, Green, Clarkson, Nance are all vey limited role players. At least the odds are greater that they will play well at home.

It's time..they better come out firing this team back to Boston.
