So game 1 is Monday...do you guys know when game 2 will be? Thinking of making the drive down from Toronto since ticket prices are ridiculous over here.

Probably Wednesday, usually when they have consecutive games in the same arena its every other day, only like 2 days between when they have to travel.

I know the Toronto Raptors made those in season moves to compete with the Cleveland Cavaliers but when you barely get past the Milwaukee Bucks you pose little threat.

They MIGHT win 1. They won 2 last year because of Wilt 2.0, sure that JV dude will get his but Demar is the only one going to get going, he can't beat the Cavs by himself. Kyle won't show up and Carroll thinks he can guard LBJ but is always quickly reminded he can't carry his jock.

5 games. Ibaka is good but Love plays well against him and he isn't stopping Lebron, I've seen Lebron bury him when he played on OKC many times and I'm pretty sure Love had 40pt games on him in the past. PJ Tucker is solid, would love him on this team but he isn't slowing Lebron down either.

Basically the Raptors are better than last year but not by enough to matter.

Ah thank you! If only games 1 and 2 weren't during the busiest week at the beginning of each month for work. Guess I'll hope for game 5 even though it probably won't even get there...hah

While it wouldn't shock me to drop a couple, I'm really hoping for a short series. The whole discussion after the first round was how Kyrie wasn't stepping up. I'd like to see him light it up and end these prehistoric fucks.

This series is really interesting in large part because this is not the same Raptors team that the Cavs saw last year. Not even close really. Ibaka is a far better player than Biyombo, and he's going to be much tougher to gameplan for. DeRozan is far better than last year, and he found a groove in that Bucks series. Now, how much of that was him, and how much of it was the Bucks guarding him with Tony Snell and Delly?

Everyone will point to PJ Tucker as the x factor, but he's gotten so much play as some kind of LeBron stopper, that he's become wildly overrated. LeBron won't really have a ton of problems with him, though PJ will be really physical, which the Raps lacked last year. The real x factor will be Powell, who was fantastic in that Bucks series. The Bucks dared him to shoot, and he killed them. And he was great at attacking closeouts. The Cavs are going to have to be tight on their rotations.

The chess match here is going to be far more interesting than last year. If the Cavs get hurt by Ibaka at center lineups, it would not surprise me to see lue try LeBron at the five. Ibaka is not exactly a bruiser down low, and putting James at the five means Ibaka either has to guard him, or he'll have to stay attached to a shooter. The Raps thrived with Ibaka as a weakside defender. The Cavs will need to do everything they can to keep that from happening.

Cavs in 7.

Raptors have great offense which great Milwaukee D made look bad. Milwaukee doesn't have great O, so hard to get much read on improved Toronto D, but they were great after ther break, improving by 2.5 points over season long Defense.

People underestimate how good Toronto is because they underestimate the quality of the Bucks athleticism which made their playoff D much better. Lowry could cause Cavs a lot of problems. Maybe that one game should mean more than the prior three, but given the Cavs recidivism to bad habits, I'll need to see more than 4-6 quarters of solid D play to be convinced. Seen them look good then look like Tori Spelling on a bender.

Raptors going to give Cavs all they can take. Gonna be a nightmare trying to stop DeRozan who no longer needs to draw as many fouls to score heavily and is much better distributor. Ibaka at the 5 is going to cause the Cavs all kinds of nightmares. We'll see if Patterson/Carroll can handle Love in the post, and if he becomes a passive floater like he did later in the last series. Lowry is a fine defender so that's some bad news. But not seeing anyone able to handle LeBron, not really feeling PJ Tucker is big enough and Carroll hasn't done shit since leaving Atl.

We'll see how diverse the scoring is. Can see the Cavs really coming out and putting the hammer on them the first two games then falling apart in Toronto just like last year. Expect it to come back to Cleveland 2-2. But also see LeBron being worn down by a grueling 7-game series. Toronto is a more physical team with additions of Tucker and Ibaka. Cavs will need to match that intensity, something they've struggled to do at times. Worried about LeBron having to shoulder too much load late in games and starting to tire. Even in great shape, playing 44 minutes is grueling and we KNOW that LBJ has a pernicious tendency to launch 3s and jumpers when he's tired. He's missed threes that gave the opponents to take a winning shot in the first round this year and next.

Cavs are the better team, but sometimes they seem so aware of it, they don't play as hard as their opponents. Don't think that will undo them, but do feel this is the Cavs toughest remaining EC matchup.

Raptors are garbage, just watching them play the bucks made me sick. Cavs in 4 or 5.

I said Pacers would be 5. It was 4.

I'm still going with Cavs in 5 over Toronto.

Still think only Washington may push us to 6.
