I’m sure some recruiting chicanery was taking place. Fuck the NBA.

Relax

Cedi is here for another 5-6 years minimum.

And we sure as hell didn’t mind “recruiting chicanery” when LeBron was calling Love in July 2014 or reaching out to Paul George last summer.

As far as the real recruiting, I actually think KD is more likely to pair up with LeBron than Kawhi.

This is more what I was referring to in my original post.

Pre Social media and DMs, GMs and owners were the old boy network that pulled the strings behind the scenes an kept power concentrated in no more than 6-8 teams at a time.

Nowadays it’s the players that are the old boy network that pull the strings behind the scenes for the top level talent and team building.

Either way, the end result isn’t much different, so I don’t bother to get too up in arms about it.

This is definitely going to get more eyes on him this season.

This is somewhat shocking but he’s there for a reason. I don’t think those other 3 would have him around if they didn’t respect or see his potential.

He must be there to guard them. That is really good for his development.

Phil Handy is also there, which is pretty interesting.

I am so happy for him. Not just he is still friend with LeBron or hanging with those guys, because I know he can really learn from them. Cedi is so coachable and he has strong learning curve. I wittnessed his learning steps since he's 17 and now I'm so excited for him.
