@Lyst.... So like I said before I am part Irish and I don't like that Notre Dame is the fighting Irish so I want it changed!!

So in your words since I am offended by them using something of my heritage, that they must change the name because I could consider it insulting to me?

I honestly could care less they are, but you are saying because if I was offended it should be changed? Honestly no offense but you have been a legit troll on here about things. If the Native Americans as a whole where offended then, yeah we should change it, but honestly majority could care less/they actually like it. More White men are offended by Wahoo than the people it is supposed to be offending.

There has to be a line drawn in what is going to far and your take goes way overboard since someone will always find one thing or another offensive whether they have merit to it or not. So if we don't have a line drawn, everything will become offensive and it would so get out of hand. If the Native Americans don't want Wahoo gone then it is alright to keep him. Let them decide since if it offends anyone it is them and if they dont vote to have it removed then we are good to keep the name and logo. Enough said!

I could go a lifetime without hearing the "what about (hawks, Irish, etc), should they be forced to change."

I completely against that bullshit about 'White people are the devil'. Or all white people are privileged.

But the fact of the matter is that the Native American tribes were decimated by foreign entities. By disease, murder, and rape. If one person is offended by Chief Wahoo, or "The Redskin". I'm ready and OK to change it.

I got a B one time in middle school English class and it decimated my perfect GPA. Your username and misspelling of the word 'List' gives me PTSD and frankly, it offends me. If you could change your name from Lyst to List, I would appreciate it. Thank you in advance.

The July 4th jerseys looked fine without Wahoo, including a red-brimmed cap missing his smile. The Block C would be much better with a stroke though, like a navy outline for the sleeve patch. I understand people that aren't satisfied with that as a logo though.

Not sure if this has been brought up in this thread, but this whole thing isn't going to end with just Chief Wahoo. As soon as Chief Wahoo is completely removed - which at this point is inevitable - the same people will go after the team name "Indians".

Might as well do a complete rebrand instead of what people will all of a sudden see as a half-baked change of just removing Chief Wahoo. I guarantee it will take less than a year before the focus is entirely shifted to the team name "Indians" and we go through the whole thing all over again. Getting rid of Chief Wahoo will hardly solve anything.

I don't have a strong stance on the issue either way, that's just how I see things going from here.
