Ahhh.....but how much cash will we have to send them?...and do we loose W&G or Max to them so they take on such a bad contract? My other fear is we already gave up 2 first round picks to loose heath....not sure we can afford to many more trades where we have to give up young talented posters to take on a bad contract. And we sure cant afford to give up our vets. :chuckles:

I agree...I dont think Bosh is out of the question next year at the trade deadline personally, though, but it will be painful to get him....but it might be worth the pain. The trade rumor of oneil for marion has some teeth to it and its proof they are trying to win and see if they can keep bosh. If they continure to stink and Bosh voices his desire to be traded it could happen....no one wants to loose a player for nothing.

It will take more than Ben and a first. Other teams will be jumping at the chance with their expirings and much higher first round picks....we could loose Gibson and JJ for example, 2 picks and Ben.......But in the end, it would be worth it. To have the Birds rights for both Bosh and Lebron would be incredible position for any franchise to be in.

I'd agree with both of you that trying to get Bosh at next year's TD is more realistic, but it definitely would be painful as Lee suggested. Probably Ben, Boobie, two 1st round picks... and they would probably want even more than that.

OJ mayo was traded as an undrafted rookie for another undrafted rookie. Unproven talent. not comparable situations.

First, I want to apologize to everyone for my number of posts in a row. However, every time I come to one of Megamansilly's posts, I have this urge to vomit or respond. I'm not a fan of vomiting, so I have to respond.

First, PLEASE LEARN ENGLISH. I can't stress this enough. Your posts are painful to read, and often do not make sense.

Second, how do you know we'd have a 10-15 million dollar trade exemption next trade deadline? I'm pretty sure we won't.

Third, you can only sign and trade free agents. If we're trading for Bosh next deadline, he would not be a free agent. If you mean we should trade for him in the 2010 offseason, why not just sign him if he wants to come here and we have the room? Furthermore, if we don't have the room, what expiring contract would we have to trade for him with?

Fourth, yes, Bird rights are acquired along with a player in any trade. The only time Bird rights reset is when that player becomes a free agent. It then takes three years of not being a free agent before the team would have that player's Bird right again.

Finally, if you already post on Cavsfanatic.com, please, just stay over there. If you're not going to follow the rules over here, or the suggestions people have made to you on how to not be a nuisance, just stay on another forum.

We're a pretty loose group of people, and we all like to speak comfortably but try to refrain from overuse of slang.

Things like "dat, wuz, b, cuz and etc" Using some occasionaly is fine but when it disrupts the flow of the post to where your trying to decipher through the slang to find the message then thats gone too far.

We're not sticklers for punctuation but we do encourage the use of capitalization and the occasional period to seperate sentences so we aren't reading one giant run-on.

I don't ask you to fix everything just to please me. I ask you to make your posts readable, and to follow the guidelines set by the moderators.
