Cleveland Browns 2017 Training Camp

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Do they know that a camera can zoom out? God damn I'd like to get to see at least the front 7 with the quarterback.

We're gonna be at halftime with absolutely no run for Kizer. Fucking brilliant.

I don't even need to see any Kizer. I've already seen enough of the others to know they shouldn't start.

I think we're losing sight on how awesome our second team defense is.

Solely based on the scrimmage yesterday... I don't any of the QBs looked "bad". They were also mostly ineffective. Kessy looked like his same old self (which isn't good for his starting chances). Hogan had a drive that led to a FG against the 1st team D.

Kizer might have had the nicest drive of the day, even though the refs let them keep playing on what was clearly a 3rd and long sack that would have taken the team out of FG range, and it ended in a throw-back-across-the-field-interception. You could see some potential, but there was inconsistency as we all are aware of I think.

Not a popular sentiment on this board, but it looks to me that Osweiler gives the team the best chance to win now. He looked alright with literally a bunch of scrubs going up against the first team D. Sidenote: that dude is HUGE.

Peppers seemed to be around the ball a lot.

So we're going to base our opinion on who the best QB is on an intra team scrimmage?

I'll stick with my assessment of Osweiler from the games I watched of his last year. He was the worst QB in the league

Myles Garrett had a couple of pass rushes where u could see his immense talent jump off the screen. One play was ruled a sack and he should have gotten another.

He misses easy throws by so much. Had a wide open slant and miss the guy completely on it on 3rd down.

I will say this: the fact that Kessler is unable to separate, despite being the only guy who has a 2nd year in the system sans Hogan, is not a good thing for him.

Kizer is going to miss at times. Big guys with big arms just miss sometimes, its what they do. But getting Kizer into a groove, and hes definitely going to make plays. Also, his mobility in the pocket and awareness, IMO, is easily the best of the group. He also shows more composure and ability to reset better than anyone else.

Kizer wont ever be Tom Brady or Joe Montana style. His comp % will always be near 60. But his ability to make throws few can make will make him a viable NFL starter and should give him the nod this year.

Kizer will look pretty damn similar in career trajectory to Flacco. And when Flacco was in a groove and had talent, hes damn good.

He was credited with two sacks.

Hue told him afterward that he really had 4 sacks, they just were giving the offense leniency.
