Cleveland Browns 2018 Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Starting a UDFA left tackle against the Pittsburgh Steelers to open the season would be so Browns.

And exactly why are certain poster on here will be eating horseshit at the end of the season

I have a feeling a lot of people who wanted Joe Thomas traded for a 1st rounder the last few years and said things like “what have we won with an elite left tackle” are going to be at the forefront of people complaining about the Oline this year

I think a lot of people are overreacting about the OL. Tretter, Zeitler, and Bitonio are still there. Hubbard > Coleman. Harrison and/or Corbett should be able to be serviceable enough depending on where they are able/forced to use Bitonio. They'll be average at worst.

Good choices for captains. Landry had that passionate speech, but we also saw him lose it and start a fight. We saw Garrett, Kirksey, Bitonio, and Tyrod act like real mentors and team-first soldiers in Hard Knocks.

If Hue is deliberately playing a public guessing game of "who is going to start at LT", it is juvenile and stupid. Starting off the season acting like we need to surprise the Steelers regarding the identity of our LT is gimmicky, and reeks of desperation/lack of confidence.

Gonna be silly as fuck if Hue decides to start Desmond Harrison and not Josh Gordon

Josh Gordon not starting doesn’t matter at all; he can miss the first snap of the game and proceed to play a majority of the snaps. I doubt Hue does something similar with a tackle position.

I think the idea of a technical start is a bit overrated

I just wanted him traded so he could actually be on a winning team and play in the playoffs. He didn’t deserve the shit the Browns gave him.

Personally, I wanted to do it because our team was always going to be absolute ass regardless.

Desmond Harrison didn't take a single snap with the 1s in the preseason or at any point in training camp.

He's been limited in both of the first two practices this week with a sore knee.

But he's going to start at left tackle on Sunday?

I dunno man...

Intro ready.
