Peppers has returned 4 kickoffs and 5 punts. Of his 9 returns on the year he's had 4 called back for illegal blocks in the back and 2 called back by holding. So 6 of his 9 returns have been called back by penalties.

Keep in mind that on kick/punt returns, penalties will often occur when the return man doesn’t follow the blocking correctly or puts the blockers in bad position by not hitting holes quickly or running north-south. Not saying that is what has happened this year but it makes you wonder...

Blaming Peppers for all those holding calls is pretty ridiculous.

He's been bad enough as a returner, don't really need to reach for extra blame.

Hopefully Callaway gets that job soon.
