Im all about salary relief, but for that amount of funds; how lucky are you to replace Klubers value? Im asking as someone who isnt as familiar with baseball contracts as other sports.

Which is said about a lot of other prospects. I remember when big red thunder Clint Frazier was an elite prospect too.

If I'm dealing Kluber I want Bellinger and won't back down. LA could sign a big OF bat whenever they want and thats what I'll tell them.

Agreed, although Frazier's drop in stock has more to do with not being able to stay healthy than talent IMO.

That kind of trade makes sense. Hopefully they reinvest those savings.

A Kluber trade is even more valuable for a team strapped for cash at the MLB level based on his contract alone.

Yea you would have to get a player with mlb experience and Pederson would fill that role. You would have your outfield solved, as I would expect verdango to start immediately. Then getting 1-2 prospects is icing on the cake, and we could possibly use that money saved on kluber/Kipnis salary to fix the bullpen.

Another trade pulled from a dodgers forum to toss into the mix..they prefer Bauer to Kluber,,younger more upside instead of Kluber who they thought was on the downside.

I would pass. Peterson isn't good enough to headline a deal involving Kluber or bauer.
