Yeah I don't like the Clarkson pairing.

I thought he had a rough start, but did a few things well and got into the teeth of the defense.

He just needs experience. He is 19. Far too early to panic. People were spoiled by the rookie play of Kyrie and that other guy um ... Cedi
How true.
Dude has yet to face the other teams in the league.
One thing thats common in any level, he's got to learn to shield the ball when he's driving on players.
Taller players will just time their jump and knock his shot away.
That jumper needs to be refined.
But he's a rookie and needs to gain experience.

He is a fast learner for sure, I'm not the least bit concerned with his ability to improve his finishing once he recognizes what certain players will give him.
It's all about match ups more so than learning how to do something, half the success players have is from knowing the opposition.

Reminds me of Darren Collison: nice job in the open court.

Jumper looks odd: glad it went into it but that stroke doesn't look like it will lead to consistency

It’s quickly approaching the time to move Sexton to the starting lineup with Hill sliding over to the two.

Having another true guard on the floor that can run the offense with him is going to help.

Hopefully this coincides with Nance coming back.

Sexton, Hill, Osman, Love, Nance should be what we grow with this year.

Should also give nwaba a go

Looked at the box score, only one assist in 23 minutes.

The play that really made me happy with sexton's future was late in the 1 at. He gets beat by teague on a baseline drive but recovers to challenge him at the rim without fouling. Just don't see that level of effort and technique from young point guards very often they will just foul or watch

He urgently needs to practice on transition defence. There were few times that he confused and missed his opponent, I saw Cedi were leading him on defence.. He is a rook, he will do mistakes but hopefully his teammates can cover.

He isn't really a poin guard at the moment. If you tell him to play like a true point guard you lose other value that he can bring to the table. He is an undersized scroing guard ATM.

I don't know what the balance should be for him between running an offense/attacking, but he needs to be unleashed a bit. It's dangerous because you don't want him to end up like Clarkson.

As I said in the Cedi thread, I’m watching condensed game and highlights from last night so maybe I’m missing the big picture.

Sexton gets major tunnel vision sometimes. It worked out last night, but he passed up a couple open 3 attempts that weren’t exactly difficult reads. Love was standing in the corner just waiting as Sexton attacked the rim with 3 guys surrounding the rim LOL

The Clarkson comparison is scary. I don’t know how many assist opportunities were present though.

I’d have him in the starting lineup sooner than later, perhaps begin defining times when he should be super aggressive.

I feel like Lue is actively sabotaging his career.

Playing him in a lineup w Clarkson and Dekker. What is he going to learn? What habits? Who is he passing to?

If he isn’t going to start, he should be the first sub. Hill out, sexton in w the starters.

Hood is garbage too. Sexton was playing w hood, clarkson, Dekker and zizic. I ok w ante but the other guys....

Where is nwaba? Dekker over nwaba is insane.
