The question is whether DMC said something like "if you think I'm the big problem, why don't you trade me?", which makes the context different and Westphal's statement misleading. Interesting in that regard is that no formal action has been taken against DMC. He wasn't suspended, and there is some speculation that this wasn't done because the union could then appeal to the league to investigate, and the accusations would not hold up under the scrutiny.

I would be surprised if this goes away quietly.

I wouldn't hesitate for one minute to pickup DMC. DMC would be the real center that we actually need. Deal Varejao and Samuels and possibly a pick. Cousins could be the elite scorer that we lost with LeBron, especially with Kyrie now at the point, not to mention that he would be the perfect compliment to Tristan.

DeMarcus has issues, but he has tallent. Remember, this is the same orginization that Casspi claimed treated him like crap and couldnt figure out his role.

I think there is something there to what Cousins is saying. Sac has as much of a negative history recently as does Cousins himself. I dont see Sac giving up on him though.

I'll just re-iterate. 32% shooting on 13 shots a game. Atrocious. Andray Blatche laughs at him. Then, throw in the awful attitude and I'm just not sure why people are all over his nuts. He's got bust written all over him.

Stats after five games? Come on now, I thought you were better than that. Though he is also averaging a double double in 27 mpg and SIX oboards per game. I'm sure his lower FG% is partly due to the terribleness of the system that the Kings run.

I don't blame Cousins too much on this. I know he's a hot head and has known temper problems but the way there perimeter guys play like Evans would piss me off if I was a big. Extremely selfish guards. The way the Cavs are playing there seems a reasonable chance based on record we're not going to be in that semi-automatic top 4 spot. May have to take a risk in a young guy like Cousins knowing that we have a guy who can get a lot of players in Scott and true PG in Irving.
