Cousins Demands to be Traded

The only way we trade them our pick imo is in a rights to swap picks on our end. As in if we draft 6th, and they're drafting 4th we can swap with them. Otherwise it is too much for Cousins. I want him on the team, but Andy plus an unprotected pick for him is to much. A more realistic way imo is to trade for DMC and get them to lower the protection on the pick from 14th to top 10 protected, and 8th the next year, 6th the next year, 5th the next year, and then unprotected.

They won't agree to a right to swap deal.. I Think Cousins + 2012 wing is greater than Andy + anybody. I may actually prefer adding Cousins and wing to the team over adding just Drummond..

This is just spitballing. I don't think Sac considers a trade like that. It'd be nice for the rebuild.. Especially if we can get Cousins motivated playing alongside guys with character and selfless games like Irving, Tris and Gilchrist.

I wouldn't personally. DMC hasn't been set up to succeed in SAC, but if you are a great player usually you can find a way no matter your team mates. With that said I still think DMC can be a good player with the right PG *Irving*. Drummond on the other hand has more potential than any player since LeBron. If Drummond's odds of success were 25%, and DMC's was 60% I think you have to take Drummond and run with it. Drummond is a franchise player, DMC is at best an all star.

Edit: I still believe we can get both players though.

Which would be unfair since Westphal did a fantastically horrible job in Sacramento. Pretty much every player ended up pissed at him.

No Cavs haven't been linked to Cousins at all and most of us feel they probably wouldn't have interest due to his issues.

Basically fan discussion about whether we feel it makes sense for the Cavs to pursue and if we would do it.
