I made decent money and got a free set for myself, overall not bad for a few weeks of work. I'll probably stick to caddying next summer though.

because that job is a fucking nightmare. It's how I got into sales. Not knives, but other assorted shit. And you don't make decent money, he's probably talking 25k. Anyone that's worked there knows about the brainwashing and all that shit, 12 hour days of nonsense, trying to get people to cut out their personal lives etc.

Sat next to Rick Reilly on my flight back from LAX Monday evening, and he signed the inside cover of the book I was just happening to read: "Who's Your Caddy" by Rick Reilly. I shit you not, true story. The book was given to me for Christmas...and I saw this guy on the plane.

It just got old having to set up appointments and plan out my weeks. I would much rather go caddy whenever I want than plan appointments and not have as flexible of a schedule.

Also, people who think it's a waste of money either have shitty knives or are about to buy new ones in a couple years.

No...
I still had to set up appointments with people I knew. It was no different than setting up appointments with their references. I missed the FLEXIBILITY of caddying. I'm not really sure if you're unintelligent or just trying to annoy me, so I'll leave it at this.
