Damn, Jimmy G this is some serious good quarterbacking.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I feel like that pats have done a great job convincing everyone he is the next brady.

I really believe its all to drive up cost

Hope browns dont fall for it

After reading your post, is it weird that i noticed i was fully engorged?

You are a poet, my good sir. You may even be the Arthur Rimbaud of sports writing. Quality writing, with just a subtle hint of gayness.
Subtle?

:ok:

Be interesting if the Pats could turn JimmyG into Richard Sherman.

Would be an absurd gamble for Seattle, who is then forced to deal him.

Not if they traded G to us and then use some of those assets for Sherman. Not a 3 team trade, but an understanding beforehand. Idk what Sherman is worth, or why they would want him moved... aside from being annoying, but to turn a backup Qb into an elite corner would be interesting.

Why would they do this?

What's stopping any team from backing out on that knowing they're forced into a deal bc they won't keep him and Wilson?

It just doesn't make any sense for them to ask for JG in the deal.

Left to right, top to bottom, get off the sauce.

It's not trade Jimmy G to Seattle it's trading picks acquired by Jimmy for Sherman

Call this a cop out, but both sides are waiting for the other to move, and neither has a deadline to meet. The rest of the quarterbacks in free agency are shit. This could take weeks and still end in a stalemate. We will literally know for certain after the first round of the draft concludes.

Since Jason LaConfora is tweeting about Jimmy G again, I'm bumping this post from two months ago. Belichick is in no rush to move Garoppalo, so he has the luxury to wait for an overpay. His overpay might come in the form of a cusp playoff team suffering an injury to the QB position like Minnesota last year. I don't want to Browns to over pay, but a reasonable trade for Garoppalo makes more sense than a trade up for a rookie.

What do you think constitutes as an overpay for the Browns at this point?

I wonder if this potential trade is largely dependent upon who is available when the Browns are on the clock at 12. At this point, it makes no sense for either team to give-in and take less/pay more for an undetermined player.

Speaking in old trade value chart, about 700 points or a very late first rounder. Some like to point out that Garoppalo came into the league as a #62 pick, or worth 284 point value... but there's no denying his mental processing has improved. That adds value, even if he is still physically the same guy who went at the end of the second round.

So, I'd trade a second rounder this year and a second rounder next year with considerations for a possible third pick attached if he starts a certain number of games.
