Danny Green: Long Time, No See

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Re: Danny Green cut?

Too bad for Green, but congrats to Manny Harris for apparently making a roster that looked like it was set in stone before training camp started. Well, to be more precise, he'll make it if they stick at 15 and don't pick up a waived big man.

Agreed, for a guy who got hurt before the draft , went undrafted, and then couldnt participate in Summer League, he sure took advantage of a slightly opened door... good for him, excited he made the team

Not a surprise at all. Byron Scott can only go by what he's seen since he's been here and Green hasn't shown much during this time. He'll probably get picked up by somebody. Young cheap player who can still develop into a solid role player.

From what we've been able to see Harris deserved to make it over Green. Not like Harris is a nobody who came from nowhere. Former Michigan HS player of the year and the top player on the Univ. of Mich team for the past 3 years. Talent has always been there, just needs to put it all together. Harris does have a shot at being a much more productive pro than Green. Is worth keeping around to see if he can develop, especially with where the Cavs now are as a franchise.

Im not going to say that im surprised but, i wish him the best and hope he makes a team.

Should have never signed Joey Graham. Waste of money and a waste of a roster spot.
Danny Green should still be on the team.

Some team will pick him up quickly. Danny has nothing to worry about, his jumper can keep him in the game.

Danny Green is a waste of a roster spot unless you consider dancing a key element in basketball.

Green will probably get picked up by Miami, but could use more time in the D-League. Best of luck...

I agree with picking up Graham being a waste of a roster space...just really don't see the point in that. I guess he will come in handy when we play the LeBrons/Pierces/etc of the league, but eh.

Bummer for Danny, he's a great guy, hopefully he gets picked up and gets in a good situation. But Manny was the better player.

Re: Danny Green cut?

Remember that game when Danny Green...................EERRRRRRRRRRRRR!!

Re: Danny Green cut?

Dude, I don't think he ever knew how to conjugate any verb.

When you can speak 6+ languages you can probably then start making fun of the guy who learned English in a couple weeks last summer. He'd fit in right at home here on RCF.

I wouldn't question Christian's intelligence, considering he is picking up at least his 3rd language.

Danny Green hadn't done anything to demand a roster spot. It was there to be had, he just failed to take the opportunity. As for Joey Graham, we do need a few players rounding out the roster with some experience. If you had Green, Eyenga and Harris you are asking for trouble. Just too little experience to cover the "upside".
