Dream Team 4: Golden State Warriors

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I guess everyone forgot about our 25 3ptr game in the playoffs, because tonight wasn't the most 3s in a game ever as the Warriors announcers kept crowing about.

I looked this up the other day, for reasons i dont understand because the 25 was done in a playoff game it doesnt count toward records. I have no idea why

Playoff stats and regular season stats are never combined unless you’re talking about someone’s career numbers. And sometimes not even then.

Jokic dished out 12 assists as a center to that Denver team? Good lord, fire up the trade machines and get his ass in here before he becomes a household name.

It's 2017. He is a household name.

Lol Jokic isn't better than Cousins he is the second best center though

Why? The better passer, better post player, better mid-range player, doesn't kill his team with techs and suspensions, more efficient. He flat out possesses more skill. Cousins percentages from 10 feet and in are poor. He either brute forces his way to the rim, or he shoots 3s. When forced to do something else, like shoot a turn around or a hook, he's not good at it. Jokic, at 21, looks like Kevin McHale on the other hand.

And if Jokic is having this type of impact on the Nuggets at 21...why can't Cousins have it on the Kings at 26?

Jokic is the best center in the NBA. He just came in so fast and and so brains just have yet to realize it or accept it. He doesn't look like your typical player, he looks unathletic and sluggish so that factors in aswell.

Since Jokic became the starter in mid-December, the Nuggets are 16-14, and that's not factoring the fact that they were still hesitant to fully commit and play him 30+ minutes a night.

And he's not playing with an all-star, either now or a guy with all-star potential. Gallinari and Wilson Chandler are nice role players...but so is Rudy Gay (who is now hurt, I know, but he's been there for years) and Darren Collison.

Maybe this all falls apart, the Nuggets collapse, and Jokic hits a wall.

But if this 2 month stretch, the first two month stretch in his young career that he's been given the keys to the car, is real, he's better than COusins already.

He has the mannerisms of a fat kid in gym class playing basketball and that's because he was that fat kid in gym class. Just insane basketball IQ. I just love how his teammates have learned to cut so hard when Jokic is on the floor, Jokic will find them.
