I do expect a flurry but the Cavs have be prepared to thrown a haymaker early and keep hitting them..just take one of the two guards out of the game and they have nothing else to turn to.

The Cavs have allowed the Raptors to get going early in all but the last game. They need to hit them hard and fast in this game with the defensive intensity they showed in the last game. Save the energy for defense and keep trapping Lowry and Derozan. If someone else on that team is able to consistently beat them, then hats off to them. I still think we win if that's the case, but it might be close.
 
Also, given Lue's recent comments and the media asking these questions, I expect to see LeBron come out and be aggressive early on tonight. I still think he's going to try and get Love involved and in a rhythm early, but don't be surprised if he tries to find his shot early, as well, and tries to get a few trips to the free throw line in the early going.

The reason I like this strategy is because Toronto won't be prepared for it...more than likely, they'll expect a "passive" LeBron who's going to facilitate for his team like he's done the whole series.

LeBron coming out and setting an aggressive tone for his team is basically doing the same thing IMO. Love, Kyrie and everybody else would/should follow suit.

Have wondered about that too. Would Harden, who sees himself as a mega alpha male, function well within that system over the long haul?

Lebron needs to win to keep his streak of 24 (?) straight playoff series with a road win going.

I thought of that as well. Though he didn't exactly think of himself as a star at the time; I would hope Scott Brooks has the ability to recognize his scoring ability and place him in the starting lineup.

The trade gave the Thunder Steven Adams (2013 Toronto 1st), which is not nearly as valuable as Harden, but has given them the great size advantage. They really only had Ibaka, Perkins, and Collison prior to the trade.

Oh for sure; I remember hearing Westbrook trade rumors around that time...that would've been an even bigger mistake.

That has to be my favorite episode of The Office. Freaking Dwight:chuckle:
