Windy said he and the ESPN bus got detained at the Canadian border for one hour yesterday. They were put in a holding cell. Ridiculous.

I wouldn't be surprised to learn the team also got detained again. Also wouldn't be surprised to learn that it played a part in Toronto's two wins. From an energy/focus standpoint, the team looked and played flustered.

Wait.. what the fuck?

I thought of that as well. Though he didn't exactly think of himself as a star at the time; I would hope Scott Brooks has the ability to recognize his scoring ability and place him in the starting lineup.

The trade gave the Thunder Steven Adams (2013 Toronto 1st), which is not nearly as valuable as Harden, but has given them the great size advantage. They really only had Ibaka, Perkins, and Collison prior to the trade.

Oh for sure; I remember hearing Westbrook trade rumors around that time...that would've been an even bigger mistake.

That has to be my favorite episode of The Office. Freaking Dwight:chuckle:

At first I thought your "funny" rating of my post was to begin an argument. That's basically what that button has become.

EDIT: @PeonHaiters you wanna fight?
You already know man. My "funny" rating made my intentions clear.

Can you post the audio? Looking for it and can't find it

Durant, Westbrook, and Harden...

One of the best "could've been" big threes in NBA History.

Well, at least they chose the right 2 to build around. Serge was looking pretty elite back then too... that's some solid drafting.

Still always thought it should've been Perkins and his massive contract at the time.

Yeah you know Dan would've! They could have won at least 1 by now.

Shoulda, coulda, woulda.

Not to toot my own horn or anything, but when the Cavs drafted Hickson in 2008 I wanted either Ibaka or Batum. Sadly they passed on both. :apologetic:

Also just to be annoyed by the Ferry era even more, here is everyone significant that we passed on for JJ Hickson:

Ryan Anderson, Serge Ibaka, Nicolas Batum, George Hill, Nikola Pekovic, Mario Chalmers, DeAndre Jordan, Omer Asik, and Goran Dragic.

What a lopsided 4-2 series...

+28 points in wins

+16 overall

Winning like this on the road vs a hostile crowd in a big game is huge. Gives me a lot of confidence going into the Finals. And I think it is a big mental confidence booster for the team too. So I'm kind of glad we were put in this situation, as much as I would have loved the sweep.

One more series.

So proud of this team. Last month, we were in here cursing the dysfunction. Now the Big 3 has learned how to not only function, but dominate. And they have extra help in JR, Frye, and Jefferson. They're playing better defense. They have line ups that work.

No excuses. Back to the Finals. Whoever the opponent, the Cavs have a real good chance to take it home. It will not be easy from this point forward. This series should have been a great reminder.
