Frye to Suns 2/yr $3.8 mill (pg. 37)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
By the way, for all the people who think Ferry isn't getting it done;

Frye's deal is 2 years and the second year is a player option, Ferry probably did not want that to be a player but rather a team option so that he could have more cap room next year. I have no sources but that's just a thought.

All the people complaining, do you not remember what happened when we over-extended and overpaid mediocre players in 2005? Damon Jones got a 4-year contract for $16 million as a result of panic and Ferry has learned his lesson.

Frye is not going to be the difference that gets the Cavs a championship so let's please stop acting like he was. Nice player, would have like to have him, but it's not a big deal.

People who think THIS offseason sucks haven't been Cavs fans very long...

I agree to a point that the sky isnt falling and people are completely oblivious with some of the things that they expect for the cavs to come away with but in response to your message

How many offseasons can you name that the following year we might actually have a legit chance of winning a NBA championship?

The only thing i dont want to see is them settle and make the wrong personal decisions, or the same mistakes like have lebron bring the ball up the court at the end of the game and have every other player spread out and wait for a miracle to happen every time.

100% agree

Look at the people Ferry has brought in with the shit that he has had, hes got us some pretty amazing talent from complete nothing

Kind of a moot point since I'm guessing his goal is to play his ass off and make out big in 2010 by opting out.

I guess this is a reprisal attack from Phoenix after we completely ripped them off with the Shaq trade.

Some of you guys really over react over a guy who averaged 4.2 ppg and 2.2 rebounds. You guys are like women.

Mostly I think it's a reaction to a majority of the players we "target" heading to other destinations. Nobody is claiming Frye to be the new Bosh.

i dunno, i know it's in another thread, but i'm pretty pissed about the bass situation. 4 years at the MLE for a young PF that can actually score? God damnit, we are getting hosed every which way in FA.

Yep, lots of over reaction. But like women? Aren't there many women as members in here? I honestly do not know, but I do know women can be as big or bigger fans AND as knowledgeable as a man can be. Actually; I've listened to women talk sports before, and I might have called them a bunch of men. :)

All women in here please raise your hand.

WHOA! Dude...we just signed Candance Parker from the Raptors for 2 years under 6 mil, watch out with the women talk.

Well, but who is our next target?

Warrick or Kleiza or Joe Smith?

I imagine will explore options like Warrick and Kleiza next. It'll be difficult since both of them are restricted and we have very little to offer. Joe Smith will probably be a last resort unless he starts picking up interest from another team.

I think Ferry will be exploring options in the trade market first while seeing what he can do with Kleiza.

Which again goes with the fact that he'll get a better opportunity in Phx..

Either way, he has control over what he does & not the team

When 4.2 is greater than the average combined minutes per game of your two current PF's it's not such an overreaction.
