I just don't understand why, if you guys have each other all figured out, you keep responding to each other. On some level, all parties involved have to enjoy this, or it'd just stop.

Because it avoids talking about the topic at hand...

It's obvious to see what happened over the past several pages. Scroll back a bit and see how this started.

I've watched it, and I'm not calling any one person out.

I have to ask of everyone, rhetorically; if you don't respect someone, why care so much about what they have to say?

Likewise, if you can't be respectful when speaking your mind, why do you expect anyone to hear what you have to say?

Does ignore not work for you all? Are you really willing to drag each other down beyond saving?

You don't...

I can say that much for certain.

But the point here is that it's a forum where there's many of us having a conversation. I think that some users are more comfortable with social media where the posting is a bit different and stream of consciousness is a bit more expected.

But these threads shouldn't resemble YouTube comments... So if someone posts something into the conversation that's obviously wrong, posters should point out "this is wrong."

Likewise, if you can't be respectful when speaking your mind, why do you expect anyone to hear what you have to say?

Yeah..

It can work in certain circumstances, others not.

Suffice to say, we're way off-topic, and again, anyone reading the last few pages can see what's going on for themselves.

Probably time to move on.

Anyway, to reboot, does anyone have a worse job than Sean Spicer? Just from today he had to push a terror attack in Atlanta that didn't happen and now this:

Spicer Demands Apology from Critics of Yemen Raid
"Washington (CNN)
White House press secretary Sean Spicer said Wednesday that critics of the recent raid in Yemen, including Senate Armed Services Committee Chairman John McCain, should apologize.

Spicer was asked at a White House briefing about criticism of the raid, including comments by McCain, who said he could not describe the operation as a "success" earlier in the day. The operation left a US service member dead.

"It's absolutely a success, and I think anyone who would suggest it's not a success does disservice to the life of Chief Ryan Owens," said Spicer, citing intelligence obtained in the operation.
Spicer's comments are a shift in his analysis of last month's operation. Last week, he hesitated to call the raid "a success 100% when someone is hurt or killed, and that was the case here."
Before Spicer's briefing, McCain criticized the raid, citing the loss of life.

"While many of the objectives of the recent raid in Yemen were met, I would not describe any operation that results in the loss of American life as a success," he said in a statement.

Asked about McCain's comments at the briefing, Spicer said he had a "message" for anybody who said the mission was not a success, though he did not mention McCain by name.

"I think anybody who undermines the success of that raid owes an apology ... to the life of Chief Owens," Spicer said.

Again calling the raid a "huge success," the press secretary said the information gleaned from the raid would save US lives and prevent attacks. "We owe (Owens) and his family a great debt for the information that we received during that raid. I think any suggestion otherwise is a disservice to his courageous life and the actions that he took. Full stop," Spicer said...."

Seems to me this section's definition of a shitpost is anything the person calling a shitpost doesn't fully agree with for whatever reason.

Nailed it.

You have been crushing it lately, btw.

It's a game going on. The people accusing others of circular posting are guilty of doing the same. The faux outrage they spew is comical. They can ignore or report. Many of them are equally guilty of shit posting.

Nonsense...

If she paid to pick her seat, the airline had no business moving her because some "monks" felt she was unworthy to sit near them.

It's total bullshit, and the airline should be called out for it.

I agree, do the "monks" then have a claim to say they were discriminated against for their religious beliefs?

Closed because nobody can play nicely. No more politics threads for a week. If any are opened they will be closed.
