George Zimmerman trial

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'm not in denial. I honestly don't really give a fuck. I think it's obvious that Zimmerman committed a crime and should have received SOME form of punishment but I'm not losing any sleep over the verdict. I didn't follow the trial and I'm not too familiar with all the details about the case. All I know are the OBVIOUS AND FACTUAL details that everybody has been made aware of.

George Zimmerman was a "neighborhood watchman" or whatever

The police told him not to pursue but he did anyway.

He didn't have to follow Trayvon in the first place. It's kinda obvious that Trayvon was being racially profiled.

And honestly if he was a neighborhood watchman or whatever why did he need to have a gun? Couldn't he have just carried around a taser or something that isn't lethal like mace as a means to defend himself?

No they didn't. 911 operators did, but you don't have to listen to them.

I read that Martin confronted Zimmerman, not the other way around.

Why didn't Trayvon call the cops?

Maybe his phone was dead. Or he forgot it. Just like Frank Reynolds dad. That also could explain why he was out walking in the rain.

And as far as Trayvon confronting Zimmerman I heard that Trayvon only confronted Zimmerman after he saw that he had a gun on him.

he was talking on the phone to the most important witness of the case. Theres nothing in any phone records that indicate he saw a gun, then attacked.

why is it obvious he was racially profiled? This is a really bad neighborhood, if he wants to bring a gun with, thats on him. He more than likely stopped pursuing martin. The rest of your post, I agree with

It seems like he was profiled to me. I mean all he was doing was walking home with a hoodie on carrying a bag of skittles and a snapple. What is so suspicious about that? And I think I remember hearing his phone call to 911 and hearing him complain about him looking like he was on drugs. I mean idk maybe it's just me.

He also said "they always get away with this kinda stuff". I assumed he was talking about black people in his neighborhood. Unless he was talking about people in hoodies that walk around in circles...

Exhibit A:

Looney, with all due respect...you know seemingly nothing about the case.

'seems like' is just as unfair as it 'seems like' hes a bad seed because of his skin color. Zimmerman dates black girls, his sister (i think its sister) is half black, he uncovered police corruption regarding an event where a black homeless man was beaten. He doesnt have it out for black people. If he did profile.. theres a difference between Don Cheadle and the Yin Yang Twins (like I said earlier). You can carry yourself in a certain way that raises suspicion. The skittles and drink were actually fundamental elements to 'syrup', so he was going to get high, not just eating candy like a kid. he had weed in his system.
