Goodbye Larry Nance Jr.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I like Nance and he had a decent game for him last night. And 15-12 while pretty good isn't great but it's a start I guess. The Pacers had 4-5 guys score that much.

He isnt much of a shot blocker but he is a solid role player. One of the few we should keep beyond this season.

Honestly love the guy. He's no superstar but brings all the right things. Ball and body movement, defense, hustle plays and the guys a fucking leader you can tell he is urging the guys to follow him.

Pretty good game for Larry. The jumper was working, he brought the ball up a couple times, continues to flash really good court vision. Made a couple passes I haven’t seen Clarkson even attempt in his career.

Injuries and foul trouble are the big obstacles it seems.

Only quality player on the roster outside Love? Quality as defined as wouldn't be surprised to see in a finishing lineup for a quality team

I'm not sure this guy has any more value than being a decent defensive energy big. We have him shooting long-range jumpers, but he can't even hit his free throws consistently. He also doesn't seem strong enough to finish against other bigs inside. I don't seem him being worth his contract offensively at least long term. zHe's shooting a career worse fg% too so far this year (49.2%).

I think tonight was a learning experience for Nance. I do think tonight might have been one of the better nights on defense for him.

He will need to keep working on his jump shot and games like tonight should get him in the gym more. I think the worse thing for Nance is to get comfortable in what he does well and stop developing. We don't want another TT clone.

bum imo, doesn't use his athleticism enough and should never shoot outside shots. Looks pretty dumb when he thinks he can just bring the ball up the court for no fucking reason at all. Just give the ball to the pg, clown.

Don’t really like his body language either.

Me neither. I thought about how overly emotional he was last night. He was hitting his hand on the floor hard as fuck and that could possibly lead to a break.

He has to calm down a little bit. At least don't hit his hands on hard objects.

I watched a lot of him with LA. I never saw what the hype was all about. High energy, hustle guy. Never saw much more from him.

He had some nice dunks so got overhyped, I think he’s a decent passer and if he played with smarter gaurds who actually knew how to play offball and could cut he would be much more effective. The issue is he is not strong enough to play center and is not good enough as a shooter to play the 4 in today’s nba. He also doesn’t seem as athletic after his last injuries, unless he improves his shot I don’t see how he can really be effective in today’s nba unless he plays with a team full of high iq players which we definitely are not...

I'm doubtful this guy will ever be able to knock down shots from beyond 15 feet, let alone 3 pointers.

...until he hits more than 1 in a game and you'll be back here belching platitudes about the virtue of patience and declaring an unwavering faith in the guy.

Never seen such waffling from a poster; you must have played a significant role in John Kerry's presidential campaign.
