Happy Trails George Hill

Was taking a look at all the new players IG and Twitter and had no idea the Hill was a straight up Indiana country boy. Like country music concerts and deep woods hunting country boy.

Was also part of an incredible group of Indianapolis HS players in the mid 2000s:

Mike Conley, Greg Oden, Eric Gordon, Hill, Courtney Lee, Josh McRoberts, and Rodney Carney.

This isn't true...he complained of discomfort earlier this year. It hasn't been to the point of him missing extended time, but there has been lingering pain. Beyond De'Aaron Fox getting more run because he's a rookie, the limited minutes for Hill were also allegedly tied to not wanting to completely reaggravate his injury.



On the flip-side, if they can get him 100% and without discomfort, it'd stand to reason his defensive numbers would get back to previous season levels.

Now, the toe was an initial concern for the Cavs just because it bothered him so much last year, and he still gets regular treatment on it to prevent a recurrence,
(Kinda like Korvers foot injury on a lesser scale) but his toe has not caused him to miss a single minute of play this year and has been relatively healthy.

Good news. Always liked Hill a lot-er hated him for what he did to us
 
I have liked him since his draft. Great all round player. Hopefully we will be resilient to dribble penetration for the first time this season
 
His arms are crazy long. Watching him in Utah he gets his hands on a lot of passes. Kinda like wade.
 
Hmm Hill looks a little sad in his 2 min interview. I can only imagine whats it like to have to move your family so sudden with a new born. Maybe he needs a little time to settle in, but i think he will be fine once he touches the basketball again. He's a pro.
