Yeah, Meg Foster looked more alien than the actual aliens.

But it doesn't get any better than John Carpenter from Assault on Precinct 13 through They Live...B-movie king (though I'll give a shout out to Walter Hill, who was kicking ass at the same time.)

Carpenter was on such a streak that period that categorically ranking a top 5 is an incredibly difficult feat. Today, in no order, I'd say:

Funny factoid about Piper's famous bubblegum line btw: When he and Carpenter were walking on the character, Carpenter got a book of a bunch of one-liners that Piper had written for his wrestling character's promos. They selected that one, classic.

I said it when I learned about the trade - this is the one player I'm most excited about. He is the absolute perfect fit next to LeBron.
No ego, great 3 point shooter, very high IQ, runs the PnR perfectly and defends well. Hill and LeBron will work wonders for us I have no doubt.

These back-to-back defensive stops against Kyrie and Tatum...my god. Will we finally be able to guard the Pick 'n Roll effectively? I don't want to be too excited after one game, but what Hill did tonight with basically no practice with this team...? Thank you, Koby.

I’m just glad to know that his shit defense in Sacramento was more effort and not caring about being there. He was great. Dudes arms are long as fuck. He nance and hood can close out so effortlessly.

That PnP that Hill & LeBron ran reminded me of late 90s Stockton & Malone immediately.

Hill isn't a great playmaker or passer. He can't go and create for others or for himself on his own. But he is still a solid playmaker and passer. And with his decision-making, he is more often than not making the right decisions majority of the times.

You can never stop a guy like Kyrie anyway. When he is in mood, he is the most unstoppable guard in the league along with Curry but George Hill defended him as well as anyone can.

Very excited to see how he does with more practice.
