Posted in the LBJ 2010 FA thread, but the location of that thread appears to be a secret :chuckles:

Come on plain dealer step up your game, we need huge article of why lebron should stay. Fuck NY

1) I can't believe that thread managed to stay dead for 6 months. This one's on you, Soundbreaker.

2) I noticed a quote in that article that called New York "classy", while that same article (from a "professional" newspaper) has photoshopped a Knicks jersey on another team's player who is still under contract, and about to lead that city to a championship, all while claiming he should be in their city instead.

Classy? Go kill yourself New York City.

3) LOL.

Absolutely pathetic.

For a city that is supposedly so great and has so much to talk about, they have to fill their paper with talk of LBJ coming to NY?

New York is one giant asshole. I wish I could read what it says where they compare the two cities.

I can read it.

It's more insulting than what that kid wrote in the 'why lakers fans hate lebron' thread.

I hope when LBJ re-signs here, every Cavs fan trolls the S*** out of every New York Knicks message board in existence and shoves it down their freaking throats.

I think any leftover donations to the LBJ billboard should go towards getting personalized Cavs jerseys laced with Herpes for every New York Media member .

Best (most-absurd) part is: "A coach tailor-made for your talents."

What.

If there is a person on the Cavs roster/coaching staff that cares more about defense (and the importance in plays in winning championships) than Mike Brown, it would be Lebron James. Sure, he might take some plays off on the defensive end - but notice the only time he gets frustrated with his teammates is when there is a defensive lapse. Playing under Mike D'Antoni, he would average three flagrant fouls per game (committed against his own teammates), and will punch D'Antoni in the face on a weekly basis.

Everyone thought that D'antoni would be a drawing factor to get Lebron when NY hired him a couple years back - but I think it will be one of the main reasons that Lebron won't go there. He is a smart enough player to recognize that D'Antoni's style is not favorable for sustained championship runs.

If anyone has a gif of someone falling to there knees, clasping there fists, yelling "FUCK YOU NEW YORK!" Now would be a perfect time to post it.

Guess this has to do

When in doubt just laugh at New York's patheticness

Desperate. Generally, this stuff doesn't get to me, but the timing is incredibly disrespectful.

I wish I could have a camera on the collective look on New York faces when he re-signs here. Shit like this will make it so much more satisfying. What fuckin nerve of these pigs.

New York has, what, 10 Million-plus? We can't compare the night life, the excitement, the entertainment whatsoever. We have the Rock Hall, they have Everything Else.

Except for LeBron James. Who makes millions to play wherever. Right now: where his family lives. Where he was raised. Where he is comfortable and familiar. Where he can party on his own dime with the people he wants at any location.

New York happens thrice a year and he can party there. Or Chicago. Or Los Angeles. Or Atlanta. Or wherever. Because he's LeBron.

By the by, if you want a local actor/actress, you have Halle Berry for Cleveland. Everyone goes to NYC for the name or LA for the fame. But how many are born or raised there?
