Filled in what I could see.

1.) Yeah, let's forget about Halle Berry or the fact that Tom Hanks got his start & big break here

2.) I'm pretty sure they could've found something other than "Hanky Panky" or the "Slovenian National Home & Auditorium"

3.) For a city thats supposed to be so damn great, they sure are pretty desperate. If New York is so great, why would LeBron need to be talked into going there?. The way they make it sound, he should forget about how sorry the basketball team is & go there anyway..

So basically, what it boils down to is FUCK NEW YORK.

We got Thomas Edison, Steve Harvey, Halle Berry, Chappelle, and Arsenio > Seinfeld

I guess they have nothing better to do during the playoffs :)

Hey you don't even understand the half of it... Try living in this city... It will drive you nuts...

I really don't think any Cavs fan can comprehend the hype of Lebron coming here unless you live here... It is fucking insane...

New York has, what, 10 Million-plus? We can't compare the night life, the excitement, the entertainment whatsoever. We have the Rock Hall, they have Everything Else.

Except for LeBron James. Who makes millions to play wherever. Right now: where his family lives. Where he was raised. Where he is comfortable and familiar. Where he can party on his own dime with the people he wants at any location.

New York happens thrice a year and he can party there. Or Chicago. Or Los Angeles. Or Atlanta. Or wherever. Because he's LeBron.

By the by, if you want a local actor/actress, you have Halle Berry for Cleveland. Everyone goes to NYC for the name or LA for the fame. But how many are born or raised there?

Umm you'd be surprised... Funny how it is out here... I just realized this week my buddy use to date Lady Gaga and all the crazy nights I had with her and Lady Starlight before she made it big, while partying in the LES... I had no clue she was on the brink of stardom because she just seemed like most out here... She disapperaed and moved to Vegas and thought nothing of it until my dude told me he is opening for her show in Pittsburg... A lot of talent either moves here real early on or are from here...People move here all the time that just blow up, Kid Cudi for example or even Mick Boogie...That is NYC for you... Just one of many random things about this city...

I will say this, born and bred in Cleveland. Clevelander til the death of me but will I ever move back to Cleveland, no.... I moved to NYC for the same reasons as most, it made sense for my career or the career I didn't have... And really I couldn't be doing any better... I love NYC. I love Cleveland and my heart is Cleveland and forever will be but I can't go back to that mess for working reasons...

But I get anyone's motivation factors to move here...

But with Lebron it makes zero sense... He doesn't need NYC to get any bigger... A thing the media does not get out here and Lebron just might be, the most hated player in the NBA... What would it do to his image if he just bailed on his hometown city in pursuit of the so called big lights????

And to edit... Cleveland residents are out of control in Brooklyn... Hell every month in BK there is an Ohio Party... It is like little Cleveland in the part of BK where I live...

Gee, if only there were some famous actors from Cleveland. Oh, wait:

Why would he go to a city where he would be a constant loser in? I would think he would want to be competitive...

I cant wait to laugh my ass off when LeBron resigns and these morons just have to settle with the piece of sh!t they have under the name of New York Knicks.

NY is pure class... :thumbdown

The Yankees graph disgusted me when I saw that. Selig should be ashamed that the Yankees can buy their way to titles like that.

I really hope they get Joe Johnson and another player and have them face us in the first round of every playoff series and sweep them every time by a margin of no less than 40 points.

New York is a cesspool and it smells like shit. People think that Cleveland sucks and yet I can't get out of NY fast enough when I'm visiting on business. Hot, crowded, trash everywhere, and too many assholes wandering around. Knicks aren't even the hottest sports ticket in town, and Lebron would always be second fiddle to the Yankees if he was foolish enough to go there. Knicks can be happy with Boozer, Johnson, and the rest of the trash on their roster. D'Anphony can take that team to the second round until they get bounced by a team that plays defense.

We got Thomas Edison, Steve Harvey, Halle Berry, Chappelle, and Arsenio > Seinfeld

Don't forget Drew Carey.

This is a large NY newspaper and also influential in many circles. Wouldn't this fall under the tampering rule of the NBA? Why does it seem like this rule is never enforced by the NBA? It does seem when it comes to LeBron, nothing is out of bounds.
