"Hey LeBron, this is home!"

Title-starved Knicks fans:

Bring on LeBron!

I was in NYC on business, and every person that found out I was from Ohio said: "how does it feel to know that LBJ is coming to NYC?"

No lie -- I probably heard some version of that 15 times.

Here's my take:

(1) Quit posting this shit -- seriously -- you just did the publisher a big favor. Real fucking genius.

(2) If LeBron leaves, I'm going to get season tickets for dirt cheap, and all of the LBJ fanboys will become Knick fans (at least 50% of this site's membership -- which explains why the mods deleted that useful 2010 sticky).

Why worry about something over which you have zero control???

Who fucking cares.

You just have to love how pathetically desperate New York is. They have to resort to THIS in order to try and woo LeBron away from us.

It's going to be that much more satisfying when he re-ups with us with Summer, and we can kick every single New York reporter right in the sack.

Well in all fairness this is the Daily News, not the Times ...

Poor title starved Knicks fans, all they've had to root for is a 27 time World Series winner and a recent Super Bowl victory. What the fuck are they gonna do without LeBron?

Good God the nerve of people. If you wanna compare title-starved fans Clevelanders kick the shit out of asshole New York.

i'm trembling over here

wow, this is really pathetic on their part

This sucks... Just when I had forgotten about it for a while... Oh well, I;m still sure he'll be back next year...

Lame...actually that comparison wasn't so dramatic lol. I like the fact that we are being compared with NY and for most part, IMO, it was close or a draw. At least we have a sit com..

I doubt it because he is from "AKRON" but I wonder if LeBron finds these somewhat insulting. I mean they are insulting the general area he grew up in.

Um, unless Lebron is a complete imbecile, I'm sure he's fully aware of what New York can offer him. At the same time, if he's truly committed to winning, he knows that staying here (for the time being) is the superior choice. He's also fully aware that wherever he ends up will ultimately be "Jamestown" (dur hur hur, NY Daily News ... we see what you tried to do there).

And the sitcom comparison is awful. Let's compare movies produced in or as the direct result of New York compared to Cleveland ... yeah, not even close. Cultural comparisons shouldn't even be brought up ... though to be fair, the Cleveland Orchestra is better than the New York Philharmonic. :D

In case you haven't figured it out... NEW YORKERS ARE THE MOST INSECURE PEOPLE IN THE WORLD!

They need LeBron much more than he needs them. NY brings nothing to the table that he cannot get in Cleveland or elsewhere. Nothing. Really, what's he going to do, endorse local car dealers?

NY used to be the entertainment capital of the world. Now that's LA.
NY used to be the financial capital of the country. Now that's DC.
It's lost power and status. The only people who talk incessantly about NY are...New Yorkers. The rest of the country could care less.

"Nobody likes New York... the only people who like New York are New Yorkers."
