Why does is yahoo projecting Garrett Hartley K NO for 0 points until like week 6 they got him up at like 9? Is he hurt? Get in trouble? Yahoo just screwed up?

Where is Moss headed?

He said he would come back to New England today, and Brady said he would welcome him. I'd definitely pick him up if you have room.

12-Team League - Standard - #6 pick:

QB - Aaron Rogers
RB1 - LeSean McCoy
RB2 - Steven Jackson
WR1 - Wes Welker
WR2 - Kenny Britt
TE - Antonio Gates
W/R - Javhid Best
K - Stephen Gostkowski
DEF - San Diego

BN - Kevin Kolb
BN - Randy Moss *waiver*
BN - Santana Moss
BN - Lee Evans *waiver*
BN - Mike Sims-Walker
BN - Jerome Harrison

*(Josh Cribbs 12.[#138] & Ronnie Brown 13.[#151] were drafted then dropped)*

For anyone with Best (I auto picked him as the time expired in the 6th round [66]...oops lol) I would get Harrison if you have room......I have a feeling that if Best is out for any period of time, Harrison may steal the show for what looks to be a solid offensive team.

I also hope to trade Kolb when he blows up the first week (even though I think he'll have a fairly stellar season anyway....he's being way undervalued IMHO).

My understanding was that Moss always wanted to be in New England, but the Patriots weren't willing to meet his contract demands and traded for Ochocinco instead. Why waste a roster spot on a retired guy unless you are in a 12 or more team league? Nonsense, Mar. Nonsense.

Hartley is hurt, BTW. I'm pretty sure he was PUPped,

I would only pick up Moss and drop Baldwin. But I want to see how Baldin does before I do anything drastic.

Going into Week 1 my roster is:

QB: Tom Brady
RB 1: LeGarrette BLount
RB 2: Ryan Matthews
RB/WR: Lee Evans (probably a position that will be changed)
WR 1: Andre Johnson
WR 2: Miles Austin
WR/TE: Todd Heap
TE: Jimmy Graham (originally was Marcedes Lewis but moved down after the Gerrard cut)
D/ST: Falcons
K: Neil Rackers

BN: Josh Freeman, QB
BN: Marcedes Lewis, TE
BN: Austin Collie, WR (lowered because of the Peyton Manning injury)
BN: Lions D/ST
BN: Danny Woodhead, RB
BN: Brandon Jacobs, RB
BN: Jacoby Ford, WR
BN: Matt Bryant, K
BN: Kendall Hunter, RB (picked up after some good preseason showings but will mainly be a backup unless/until Frank Gore gets hurt).

Right now I'm debating which TE combination I should start and if I should start a WR or a RB in the flex spot. The challenge for this league is that there are 12 teams but some people care more about the league than others. When some people don't show up for the draft other people draft their team and they pick and choose good players for their team while giving crappy players to some teams but not all teams (the guy with the first pick got Peyton Manning, David Gerrard, Tim Tebow and Colt McCoy is the only QB on his team who will actually start this week). Any suggestions on what I should do with my roster?

Report: Saints kicker out Hartley 6 to 10 weeks with hip injury

New Orleans Saints kicker Garrett Hartley, who was crucial in the team's first Super Bowl championship two years ago, will be out 6 to 10 weeks because of a hip injury, according to The Times-Picayune, which cited a league source.

Hartley injured a hip flexor on an extra-point attempt during the Saints' 40-20 preseason victory over the Oakland Raiders last Sunday and didn't return to the game.

Fearing the worst, the Saints quickly signed veteran kicker John Kasay.

Hartley was pivotal in the Saints' Super Bowl run of 2009, converting the winning field goal in overtime of the NFC Championship Game. He also had an impressive performance in Super Bowl XLIV, setting a game-record with three field goals of more than 40 yards.

Who would you start, Blount, Best, or Daniel Thomas? I'm leaning toward Best because of the matchup. Blount has to play against Detroit's stout front line and Thomas is a rookie going against the pats. I've also got Chris Johnson and starting him is a no brained.

I'm using Best too. I have Bush as my other option going against the Pats as well. Pats DLINE got beefed up this offseason and if they're running a 43 Best is probably a better option.

Is Thomas supposed to be the primary back in Miami?

As far as I know he is, that's why he's been the top rookie back in fantasy this year.

Oh well. Bush should get decent touches. I'm in a PPR league and we score receptions as 7yards=1 point.
So he should be a good option.

Yeah Bush will still get a decent amount of touches and Miami can use him in trick plays. He'll be a decent short yardage option too so he should get in the end zone some. All that is contingent on him staying healthy though.

Actually Sparano has soured on Thomas the last few preseason games, he has come out and said that Bush will get a majority of the touches. Whether that holds true once the game actually gets going, who knows. But as of now, Bush is supposed to get the most touches.
