Should I make this trade? PPR league. I already have Vick on my team. So a backup QB is important because of his injury risk, but still... We play 2 flex positions.

Currently, my lineup would be....

Jamaal Charles
Darren McFadden
Marques Colston
Santanio Holmes

Flex (pick 2) - Beanie Wells, Santana Moss, Pierre Garcon, Mike Thomas, Marshawn Lynch

I was offered a trade of: Chris Johnson, DeSean Jackson, and Colt McCoy for Jamaal Charles, Mike Thomas, and Jay Cutler.

Losing Cutler doesn't bother me since I have to trust Vick, so it is basically Johnson and Jackson for Charles and Thomas. Johnson missing so much time scares me. New offense and coaching as well.... His production will surely fall. Having the Jackson-Vick combo would be nice though. But in a PPR league, Jackson isn't as valuable as he is in a normal league.

Lineup would be:

McFadden
Desean Jackson
Colston

Flex - Santonio Holmes + Moss/Garcon/Wells/Lynch

So in short.... Charles + 2 of my flex guys OR Johnson + Desean Jackson + 1 flex guy?

Romo is a buy low this year, and McCoy will give you a bonus if it is a PPR league. I like Beanie a lot this season, the rest of your running backs might turn out and they might not. Eli is better than at least four of your rivals quarterbacks, so remember that for trades. Crabtree has a bad foot, so don't expect much early in the season. I do think that Mercedes is going to be a letdown after scoring plenty of touchdowns last season, but rarely being a factor in between the 20s.

I took a flyer on Wells this year too, but frankly I don't expect him to stay on the field. Having watched him since his pee-wee days, I have no faith in his ability to remain healthy. Hopefully, I'm wrong though.

Weakness: WR's. I don't like Stevie this year. He's a risk. Williams is still raw and growing into a WR. Hopefully he shows up every week for your sake.

Strength: RB's and QB. if Gore ever stays healthy for a year then you may have the best crop of RB's. Gore is a true #1. Rice is a #1. I love Beanie this year for some odd reason, I think he's going to perform and be a 'sleeper'.

No need to state my opinion on Brees. although I live by the unwritten rules of drafting QB's late, but I like him on your team, it seems to fit well.

I don't really care for Sproles, Tate, and Brown. But Maclin and Tolbert are great depth. You seriously have the Bills QB as a backup? There was nobody else lol?

Gates is the best TE in the league.

Yeah I couldn't believe it. I actually called two of my friends before I picked just to make sure I didn't miss him getting hurt or something. The kid before me took Turner because it's a ppr league. Hope those 12 receptions he had last year treat him well.
