How did I do? (Fantasy Football Draft)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
How many teams? PPR?

Here's the scoring, I left out the defense because you can figure out how that one works. It's only an 8 team league, but like I said above I got screwed on my pick about 4 straight times. I feel like I'm a little weak at RB, I think I need one more strong RB. I'm a bit weak at TE as well, I kind of gambled on Moore being McCoy's go to guy this year. I'm stacked at WR and I have Peyton, so all in all I feel like it's a good team.

Here's another question, would you drop Best or Daniel Thomas to pick up Fred Jackson or would you stick with what I've got?

Passing
Every 25 passing yards (PY25) 1
Each Pass Completed (PC) 0.5
Each Incomplete Pass (INC) -0.5

50+ yard TD pass bonus (PTD50) 2
Interceptions Thrown (INT) -2

Sacked (SK) -1

Rushing
Every 10 rushing yards (RY10) 1
TD Rush (RTD) 6
2pt Rushing Conversion (2PR) 2

Receiving
Every 10 receiving yards (REY10) 1
TD Reception (RETD) 6
2pt Receiving Conversion (2PRE) 2

Miscellaneous

Punt Return TD (PRTD) 6
Fumble Recovered for TD (FTD) 6
Total Fumbles Lost (FUML) -2

12 team PPR, 5 pts per QB TD, 1 pt per 25 passing yards

QB - Vick, Cutler

WR - Colston, Holmes, Santana Moss, Garcon

RB - J. Charles, McFadden, Beanie Wells, Lynch

TE - Mercedes Lewis, Dustin Keller

With a 12 team PPR league and the QB points, I felt very lucky to get Charles, McFadden, and Vick. I had 2nd pick and went with Charles over Rice, Foster, and Johnson. I think he is the safest pick of the four.

Just got done with mine. ESPN 10 man.

QB- Rivers, Stafford
RB- Charles, Hillis, Blount, Jacobs
WR- Calvin, Vincent Jackson, Steve Smith (Car), Mike Thomas, Edwards, Greg Little
TE- Clark, Rob Gronkowski
D/ST- Packers
K- Rackers

Sour I didn't get a 5th RB.

Damn, no disrespect but are you drafting with dummies? Lol.

Let me explain because you have a stacked team for a 10 teamer.

1st: Charles
2nd: Megatron
Mid 3rd: Jackson, Rivers, Hillis

I drafted 10 teams already, done shit load of mocks. Never did I see a team end up with something like this, consider yourself a lucky owner with this team.

Let me guess how your draft went:

1st: Charles
2nd: Megatron
3rd: Jackson
4th: Rivers
5th: Hillis
6th: Blount
7th: Clark

Wow. You pulled off one hell of a draft. My point is you got tons of loaded talent. 3 players with 3rd round potential and of course plus your 1st and 2nd are totally great picks.

Im gunning for a tandem of Charles and Megatron when my real league drafts this weekend.

Yeah I just did another mock and there's no way in hell. They all went in the 3rd round... I ended up with CJ, Megatron, Forte, because V-Jax, Hillis, and Rivers were off the board.

Me and my friends did the auction type draft. Spent my 200 this way:

53 - Charles
40- Calvin
25- Rivers
19- Hillis
19- Blount
19 - Jackson
14 - Clark
1 or 2 on rest of the team.

Just cut Greg Little and picked up Ben Tate.

Alright, here is my team. I'm pretty happy with it. I'm stacked at WR and have a good number one RB. I'm a little worried about Blount being my number 2 RB and my TEs. I decided to take a risk on Moore since Colt seems to love him.

Other than that I'm happy. I picked number 4 and for the first 4 rounds the guy I wanted went one spot ahead of me. I'm thrilled I got Peyton, I know he's hurt but he fell really far in my draft, I think I snagged him in the 4th.

QB1 Peyton
RB Chris Johnson
RB LaGarrette Blount
WR Andre Johnson
WR Calvin Johnson
Flex Dwayne Bowe
TE Kellen Winslow Jr.
D: Eagles
K: Sebass

Bench
WR Marques Colston
RB Jahvid Best
WR Anquan Boldin
QB Matt Stafford
RB Daniel Thomas
TE Evan Moore
D Cowboys

Your WR situation is so damn good that it could more than compensate for a pretty dubious RB situation. Your RB situation is questionable at best. Nice balls on taking Chris Johnson, because in reality the guy probably isn't going to miss any games. I had him available in one of my two drafts and was just too nervous about him. May end up paying for that.

I guess I'm not 100% confident in LaGarrette as a #2 RB. As a #3 or #4 guy sure. Thing is that if both him and Best have good years, you're golden.

Again, that's one of the best WR drafts I've ever seen in my life. I just wonder if your RB situation will suffer because of it.

Pro tip: best fantasy site I have come across is Footballguys.com. You have to pay for their ranks, but if you don't want to do that they have a podcast that breaks down every team. Last year they were hyping the shit out of Hakeem Nicks. Nailed it. This year the same love is going to Mark Ingram. We'll see how that goes.

On the podcasts they were relatively positive about the Browns. They like the coaching and McCoy in the west coast system. They think MoMass and Robiskie are total crap (have to agree) and that Cribbs, while a solid player, just doesn't run good enough routes. What surprised me was the love for our younger guys. They think Greg Little has Anquan Boldin potential. They think Jerious Norwood can be a top level slot receiver. They really like Carlton Mitchell as a project. And they think Moore and Jordan can be two of the better receiving tight ends in the league within a couple years.

They finished up by saying the Browns front office isn't blowing smoke when they say they have good receivers to develop. Thought that was encouraging to hear.

I've been following footballguys for 2 years now. Love it. Don't pay a dime though and still get good high quality info. They even do the famous 'rate my team'.

Footballguys is a great site. If you play for $$$, it's worth it.

Pretty much exactly how I feel. I was going BPA and for some reason people kept passing on high quality WRs late so I kept snatching them up. I was contemplating picking up Fred Jackson, but I think I might just wait until I see how some of my younger RBs perform.

Okay this is one of my real 2 leagues.

$50 per head - 12 Teams - PPR - 6 Point TD Pass Yahoo League.

1. (3) Adrian Peterson RB
2. (22) Tom Brady QB
3. (27) Vincent Jackson WR
4. (46) Brandon Marshall WR
5. (51) Jahvid Best RB
6. (70) Santonio Holmes WR
7. (75) Owen Daniels TE
8. (94) Ryan Mathews RB
9. (99) Fred Jackson RB
10. (118) Sidney Rice WR
11. (123) Jay Cutler QB
12. (142) Braylon Edwards WR
13. (147) Atlanta DEF
14. (166) Josh Brown K
15. (171) Houston DEF

The people in this league were drafting a bit odd. I mean the 1st defense went in the 7th and most of the good ones were right after. 7th-8th round was pretty much all good defense's. So I waited and waited and ended up with ATL, which is very good i might add, a bit underrated according to most ranks.

I'm worried about who my 2nd RB is going to be out of Best, Jackson, and Mathews. I have a sleeper in my mind later in the waivers and that's D. Carter on Indy.

So let me know what you think, different opinions are always helpful.

I'd say that you should kick some serious ass in your league, especially if Best stays healthy. Even if he doesn't, you have two really good backups. I don't really see any weaknesses, unless you have to start 3 WR, then your depth there might be a little iffy.

I have Matt Ryan starting right now, and snagged Stafford in like the 10th round. He's on my bench right now, but I think the only knock on him is his injury problems and he's going to have a killer year...

Should I take the flyer and start Stafford off the bat, with Ryan on the bench as a legitimate safety net if Stafford goes down?

I think Stafford is going to have a killer year too, but I'm not sure if I would bench Matt Ryan for him. I have him too, but my starter is Peyton. I may have no choice but to play him at first if he isn't ready to start right off the bat. I think Tampa probably has a worse pass defense than Chicago does, but I don't think the difference is big enough to really justify starting Stafford over Ryan.

I could be very wrong though, I think Stafford is poised to have a big year too, and I think Megatron is going to help him get there.

Yep, I have Megatron as well...hoping those two go nuts.
