Hue Jackson and Todd Haley Fired

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I’m just not sure why Hue Jackson has to go out of his way to say that he was never forced to hire an offensive coordinator.

Wow, seriously? It's because the media and 2/3rds of Cleveland were assuming he was forced to hire an OC. It's like Obama saying he is an American citizen after 2/3rds of the media bring it into question.

Hue did it for the rumor mongers.

He doesn’t have to say he was, either.

I don’t even understand why that was the first thing he addressed—his pride.

He could’ve just talked about the hiring of Todd and the respect his has for him.

It’s just yet another “No one would ever dare boss the great Hue Jackson around. Hue doesn’t take orders, he gives them.”

He’s just so power hungry and he has rabbit ears with what the media is saying. He’s a piece of work, man.
Why do you assume his words take place in a vacuum? It was an article based on an interview, which involves questions. He was most likely answering a direct line of questioning. It was not a monologue.

Happy Hue Jackson Day.

And so it was celebrated on every year on 1/31.

Dan Patrick still has it.

No matter what the circumstances are, no matter the reasons, if you go 0-16 you should be fired. We all know the team wasn't the most talented, but a better coach should have gotten atleast a couple wins. It's ridiculous this guy is still the head coach.

When's this jackass gunna jump into the lake?

He keeps saying he'll do it, but he then talks about how he won't "risk his life" by going in when it's cold.... Has he seen Paul Hoynes?

If he waits until the water isn't cold, doesn't that entirely defeat the purpose of doing it at all?

Hue Jackson on jumping into a lake in which the water temperature was reasonable and not even remotely dangerous:

“No one on the team informed me the water would warm up by July — rendering me perfectly safe when entering the lake.”

Jackson continued “You expect to get that information from those in the actual know but sometimes it doesn’t work out like that. You feel let down, but ultimately you move on; I’m not a scientist — I lead men.”
