Is Camby a possibility for Cleveland?

Don't know if it's been posted yet, if it has...sue me.

A league source told me this afternoon that any chances the Cavs had at getting Camby are currently dead. It is not clear whether they were ever serious, considering how Clippers coach and GM Mike Dunleavy openly said Camby was not on the block.

Things are always changing in the NBA, last year's 10-player deal was virtually dead on trade deadline morning and came back to life as the day went on. But the Cavs, according to several league executives, are moving on.

The team is still in trade talks at this moment but is having trouble making any headway as a number of deals in the NBA seem to be pending. Right now there are rumors of at least four or five trades under serious consideration.

I just want the deadline over at the moment. I hope we get someone, but this frenzy needs to end.

It stood for "at the moment". But go with whatever floats your boat.

Windy was also the same douchebag who said there is no chance we make a trade, and is pissed at W&G for stealing his scoop.

I'm not listening to Windbag till after the deadline.

:( It is seeming like every option we had keeps going down. G-Wall the big injury, Redd out for the season, Miller/Salmons to CHI, Amar'e possibly off the market, Camby an "untouchable", as well as Jamison/Butler...are you kidding me, doesn't any team want to save money? Did those teams benefit from recently borrowing money?

J.A. Adande: The chances of Marcus Camby going to Cleveland have dropped because it will take a greater lure than Wally Szczerbiak's expiring contract for the Clippers to send Camby eastward. The Clippers say they aren't in salary dump mode, and that any deal would have to improve their team. Camby for Szczerbiak doesn't fit that category. Now if Cleveland or any other team wanted to take Chris Kaman's contract off their hands, that would get the Clippers interested.

The Clippers are paying Kaman like 9.5 mil, Camby 10 mil, Davis 13-14 mil, and Randolph 15-16 mil. Not in cost cutting mode my ass. **** the Clipps.

FWIW, the Clips are ALWAYS in salary dump mode. These reports have done nothing to change my view that, if the deadline approaches and the Clips have not moved any of their big contracts, they will cave on Camby. It is a waiting game.

Is Mike Miller completely out of the conversation, at this point? I've always thought that he would be a great offensive fit alongside LeBron and I would think that Minny would be interested in dealing him for an expirer.

Yet, there is no trade buzz around him.

If we could get Miller for Wally's expirer and pick up Joe Smith after his release, I would be very happy.

Considering Miller is now a Bull, I think he's off the market...

Edit, sorry, read wrong Miller...
