Is Camby a possibility for Cleveland?

Well this sucks. I'll still keep my fingers crossed for Camby, he's exactly what we need and I cannot stress that enough. I guess it's nice to know that the Richard Jefferson talk is picking up a bit...

Richard Jefferson is pretty good i guess

On that new ESPN update, if you scroll down to Adande's piece, he mentions the Clippers may be more willing to give up Camby if a team will take Kaman too... In my opinion, even though Kaman's contract may not be good, you can never have too many bigs against the Lakers. So many possibilities...

something just to throw it out there. Both contracts arent HORRIBLE. Camby comes off next year and while Kaman's is long it goes through 11/12 but he would become the long term center.

wally and sasha for kaman and camby work. But that would be a TOTAL salary dumb by the clips

I would be happy with a Camby/Kaman trade in a salary dump. Would be worth it, our frontcourt would be ridiculously deep and we'd have our center of the future.

They are talking about trading Kaman and Camby? I'd trade them Wally and snow for that ;)

I should also add the kaman numbers for his contract

this year 9.5
next year 10.4
10-11 - 11.3
11-12 - 12.2

for a very good center thats not bad, if im ferry im thinking really hard about that.

no snow. Its been said he is totally out of things unless the deal is for Bosh similar this isnt.

also pavs might as well be an expiring i think he has some sort of weird cut out option of 1 million.

Well gentlmen...it is what it is...

Let's get healthy, pull up our straps and get a parade down Euclid Ave.

We can do it. The Cavs are a playoff team, so to see this regular season success is even more encouraging.

Let's Go Cavs!!!

HMMM, so if anything, we can go all out and offer Wally+Snow for Kaman/Camby? I'd do it.

Marcus Camby, who had his ear drained Wednesday, is awaiting clearance on being able to fly to Portland for the Sunday’s game.
"We’re inventing new ways to get hurt," said Mike Dunleavy. "I mean, in the annals of the league, what’s the percentages of one of your players flying on an airplane and his ear drum caves in? I mean, it’s like, what other kind of injury can happen?" Hopefully Camby is cleared to fly and starts for the Clippers on Sunday.

Coach Dunleavy actually sounds annoyed that Camby has an "ear infection". This tells me he really does, and that they're not just holding Camby out for trade purposes. (Well, that and actually having his ear drained) :chuckles:

To me, it sounds like no Camby for the Cavs.

It looks like the cap issue has taken a back seat in many of the tade scenarios. Teams that should be grateful for the opportunity to dump some salary because (a) they aren't going anywhere this year (Clippers/Bucks/Wizards) or (b) the players in question are not part of the teams long-term plans (Camby/Kaman/Jamison for example).

We don't know whats gonna happen until the last minute, teams demanding some talent might get desperate as the deadline time nears and they still haven't gotten anything done.

I hope you are right. Fortunately, we are a good team even if we don't make a move and frankly when we have good ball movement and stop running down and jacking up 3s before anyone gets upcourt and set we can be a scary team
