Jeff Green: Old

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I can't stand him: bricks open 3's, teammates feed him the ball because he looks like he has a mismatch and then he can't score, and on defense tends to lose track of his guy

HAHA, I was just going to come in here and say enjoy the good things he's doing now because they won't last...

I'm torn as at least he's good on the break or as secondary runner. That's more then TT is giving us
Dying to see Zizic and Cedi get some burns as they both can take minutes from players I can't stand watching (i.e. Shumpert, Green, and so odd saying this JR/TT: this season only)

Hey has anyone noticed this guy is good
Feel like we got this guy a year too late.

I really think he could have been a factor against the Warriors last year. He's everything people wanted out of Derrick Williams.

Problem now is our roster doesn't have any chemistry so who knows when that will happen.

I don't look specifically to see how Jeff does every play but he sure does come up with some good stuff every time I hear his name.

He needs 3 point shooters to spread the floor too. All of our shooters died apparently

Some quotes

Through 10 games, Green has attempted 34.7 percent of his shots from within three feet, the important piece is that he’s converting on those attempts 80 percent of the time. He averages 2.7 drives to the basket per game, according to NBA.com, with a shooting percentage of 46.2. To put that in perspective, Russell Westbrook shoots 42.3 percent on 5.8 attempts per game and Andrew Wiggins shoots 48.8 percent on 4.3 attempts per game (LeBron shoots 70.6 percent on 5.1 attempts). Compared to other notable players who tend to drive towards the basket, Green is in solid company.

Green ranks in the 87th percentile when cutting to the basket according to NBA.com, averaging 1.57 points per possession. Green has been a breath of fresh air when he comes on the court and that’s solely because he actually wants to move within the offense and find an open shot. He’s been such an efficient factor in the team’s offense and it’s simply because he wants to be. Here lies the problem.

I’ve been screaming it since preseason. He needs to attack the basket every time he has the ball.

He is such a force in transition. I can't believe we don't utilize it as much as we can. Having point guards to push it in transition would open up so many easy point for him.

That requires stops and forced turnovers which haven't been something we do until the last 3 quarters tonight.

Cavs can def. build on this game though. It was a damn good effort overall.
