Jeff Green: Old

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Not sure if this is more fitting for this thread or LeBrons thread but.....

It also might support the idea that once IT is back we might be better off taking LeBron out at the 4 minutes left mark of the 1st quarter and bringing him back in at the 10-11 min mark of the second, to ensure that he plays a nice chunk of time with guys like Korver and Green?

LeBron with Korver and Green has been my favorite thing to watch so far. LeBron with a sniper in half court and an athletic slasher in transition.
Lue seems to have a different response:

on a side note. Kudos to Gallagher for showing the minutes played, as many ,when showing LeBron on off stats forget to do. although he did leave out attempts.

As great of game he had offensively, his defense was just as good. I felt good every time he got switched onto harden. He stayed in front of him and cut him off several times. There's really nothing you can do when the guy is hitting contested 28'ers.

He didn't hit a single shot in the final 7-8 mins of the game. In fact they played such great def on Harden that he missed a 3 so badly it allowed a boxed out Capella to grab it and score. I've been so down on the Cavs this year but i'm seeing that if they want to their wing def could be great! When they play the small lineup they can switch every single player and there's not much drop off. To me Green has exceeded expectations so far.

Loving his play this year, making a case for a starting role but he has been so productive off the bench Lue might not want to disrupt that.

Odd player though, you could make a highlight reel from him that would be on par with some of the very best in the game, but then he will do something completely random that you just do not expect from a player of that talent. Makes him a compelling player to watch.

Love Wade running the 2nd unit and all, but Jeff Green has been the best minimum signing the Cavs have had since Bron has come back, IMO. I never expected him to play this well. He's currently being the guy that the Celtics, Clippers and Grizzlies all wished he would have been for them.

Really hope we're able to keep him for a few more years(if LBJ stays).

I really like Green when he plays with LBJ. He excels as an energy/opportunistic big, and is a great vet min signing.

But when he's out there with guys he perceives as scrubs, he starts playing the kind of hero ball that makes me cringe. Though I suppose it generally does not matter at that point.

I actually like him with the scrubs. He and wade are the only ones who can get their own shot and get to the rim. I just wish he didn’t shoot so much. He’s so good at getting to the basket. I wish we ran more PNRs with him.
