Joe Flacco: 2023 Comeback POY

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
All the negatives of Flacco came out in this one game, which so happened to be the team I really DIDN'T want to see the Browns lose to, even over teams like Baltimore. If only because it activated the worst people in the world to party.

It's also activated an anti-Texans (and anti-Jags) agenda that I will ride until the Browns prevail.

I enjoyed Flacco's time here. If he came back I wouldn't be mad. At least you know what you are going to get.

Browns need not to rummage in the UFL bin for backups if the disaster repeats itself again.

Flacco isn't the only scapegoat, that defense really let the Browns down today. I'm more mad at them (except JOK).

Team held together by Flex Tape was gonna break eventually. Flacco has at least etched a place of temporary joy in the fandom and I'm cool with that.

The Ravens paid me in non sequential, unmarked bills prior to the game yesterday.

We were desperate because we married a girl that put out to all the other guys not knowing she would only gives us a handy a few times a year when her shoulder didn't hurt.
lol this seems oddly specific

Btw I still would take Flacco back in a New York Minute….

I don’t trust Watson to stay healthy at this point and it’s not like Flacco is losing athleticism or anything. You keep a relatively healthy line around him and a better running game I’d venture to say you’d still be very much in the mix next season for the division..

The chemistry that he had with Cooper & Njoku was legit and that was so key.

That said, I think there’s zero chance Flacco is back next season but if you did enhance the WR position, get healthy on the line and running back spot, I would feel real good about the Browns in 2024 with Watson or Flacco…Would love to have both..

Thanks to Joe for getting us to the wildcard round, which would not have happened without him showing up and showing out.

Having said that, I said from the start that Flacco is a mixed bag at best. Great throws mixed in with horrific, game changing interceptions.

Even though our defense sucked, I thought we had a chance to fight our way back into it until the first pick 6, then the second one drove the spikes into the coffin. Those were totally demoralizing to a team whose confidence was already wavering badly.

Both those throws were really, really, really bad decisions and bad throws. Not one redeeming thing to say about them. Pressure or no pressure, you just can't make those mistakes and overcome it.

It was a nice story while it lasted.
