Yeah but it was against France. They just surrendered eveytime down the floor.

Bump...I think this is a guy the Cavs are really going to consider...

His stock seems to be rising though... He might end up above our clip pick o.0

@6:58

I like this kid....he's already balling all over LeBr*n...

He's really good and climbing the draft board quickly. I thought Montiejunas would go higher a few months ago...but, fwiw I was told he's a bit of an asshole and Jonas has much more potential.

I've heard Montiejunas has been mailing it in most of the season. Not a great career move when you are trying to raise your draft stock.

Wouldn't mind him at the 8th pick at all.

Really good video of one of Valanciunas' recent Euroleague games. It easy to see what the scouts see in this guy. He is really long and active and uses every bit of his length to his advantage. One thing that's evident to me is that he is going to struggle defensively until he puts on more weight. But he still looks like a very interesting prospect to say the least, possibly an Andris Biedrins with more to offer offensively.

Honestly Valanciunas seems like a Marcin Gortat type player, once he adds some strength, which is something that I'd have no qualms about drafting at #8 or whatever pick we have..

Biedrins seems like a weak comparison because all Biedrins is put up rebounding and shot-blocking stats while Valanciunas is a much more skilled and well-rounded prospect...

He needs some weight for defense.....but it looks like he knows how to use his length. Made a nice lil drop step move hookshot in there

Honestly he looks incredibly bust-worthy just by the way he moves...not fluid at all...but I guess he's still incredibly young and still growing into his body and whatnot.

What's with the way he gets all hunched over when he's guarding the perimeter?

Smooth- I did say Andris Biedrins with more to offer offensively. Valanciunas shoots 89% from the FT line. Imagine if Biedrins shot that instead of 25-30%, he’d have a lot more confidence in his offensive moves and going inside. But I do like the Gortat comparison offensively though. I hadn’t really got a look at Gortat with the Suns until you mentioned him. But I’m not sure if Valanciunas will ever get that strong/big.

Something to keep in mind about Valanciunas is there is a possibility that he will remain overseas for 1 or maybe even 2 years to develop. If he is there with our 2nd pick that will be something the Cavs front office will have to weigh. Would they be alright with a lottery pick not coming over right away and remaining in Europe?

People forget Beans was actually a very promising player before he got injured. As for him notlooking fluid in tha video, I'm not sure what you're seeing, as he looks very active and fluid. He has very good form on his jump shot, it's just a matter of teaching him how to lengthen it.

That veido really shows everything i had read about him: he's a pnr player and reminds many people of Andy, only with much more upside offensively.
