Kareem Hunt: One Pissed Off Runner!

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
We have no idea what kind of shape he is in. Does he have recent, shirtless workout hype videos? Preferably in slow motion for body fat analysis.
Or maybe something from a hotel corridor so we can see if he still has some "burst"?

I know we are just joking around, but I consider the work our franchise put into Kareem a positive of the past five years. He went from almost drinking away his career to being a solid citizen and veteran presence.

Even if Hunt can't outplay Ford this season, I celebrate a redemption rather than pushing an old narrative.

I'm with you on this one.

I don't think Hunt has anything left in the tank at this point. He's pretty washed.

But, he'll come in. He'll do the right thing, and he'll help get this locker room moving in the right direction. That's a good signing.

Was he a step or two slower last year? Yeah. But I'm not seeing "completely washed" like everyone else is. I think he can still be productive out there.
The problem is we always compare the backup to the goat

Chubb makes everyone look bad. I realize I’m likely at least partially hard on Ford bc of impossible expectations Chubb set

Will be interesting to see if they introduce the offense or defense first on Sunday. Kareem Hunt isn’t a starter but it would be a good idea to have him introduced with the starters and have his name called last. They could really use that energy and momentum against a team that beat us twice here at home recently.

Also interested to see if the crowd still chants Chubb!! when they want is to run the ball.

If you want a good laugh, check out how many news sources considered Hunt a Saint already:

Would it be untraditional for them not to announce him at all and for him to come parachuting onto the field prior the first offensive set of downs?

Has this been done before?

I think he should streak onto the field during a TV timeout wearing nothing but an orange and brown speedo and the words "Chubby Khunt 4 Life" painted on his chest and back.

I was going for low hanging fruit with a cheap joke at Hunt's expense.

I like Hunt (say that 3 times fast).

I think he'll be a positive influence and maybe at 10 pounds lighter he can get back a little quickness he was missing. He was never very fast, just an aggressive north/south runner who could bounce off some tackles. I'm sure he's been hearing everyone saying how washed he is, maybe he has something to prove and maybe he can have a little renaissance.

No way they announce the offense. Watson would get some boos.

I am worried about how NFL game day ready Hint is going to be from the jump. He was playing the Saints against the Colts for more money, then ended up on neither roster. Missing camp is an issue.

That said, I think there's some meat on the bone with Hunt. He was a holdout last year which impacted his game, and it showed. We need Hunt to get himself right after the bye week to help Ford. Who knows, he may have games where his style is a better match for the opponent due to pass protection and his receiving chops. I also don't know if Ford can get yards after contact yet.

I love Kareem Hunt, he plays so damn hard and gives it everything he has on each and every run. He takes care of the ball, and he plays with zero hesitation unlike Ford. It's been nice to see that he still has something still left in the tank and has been improving every single game.

With that said, the way he throws his body around, he exposes himself to a bunch of nasty hits every game, and I don't see how he makes it through the rest of the season healthy.
