The ball just didn't bounce his way. PJ Tucker out rebounded Ibaka 12-to-2 today. It doesn't make him the better rebounder, it just means in one game he got more rebounds. That's basketball.

I'd take more out of Love's rebound with a little under 4 minutes left in the game, when he grabbed Powell's missed 3 in a crowd of bodies that included Tucker and Ibaka. We were only up 8 at that point, giving up another possession to Toronto could have swung the game.

So rebounds are luck?

His defense is so overrated, he may show a few good plays and you all act like that means he played a great defensive game.

Going to be gone after this year, so all of you that need to make excuses for him will only have to hear this from me for a few more months.

Yeah most definitely. You've never seen a guy in a crowd of players get a long rebound from a bad bounce?

Great rebounders play the odds, box out their man, and try to read the ball in the air and off the rim.

That's too bad you think Love is gone after this year, I don't think we can do much better for a 3rd option around LeBron and Kyrie.

Who fits us better? Who gives us the rebounding, stretches the floor, and bangs with bigs? As a third option what would you prefer? A straight up trade like Blake for Love? Or a 4 quarters trade?

I completely disagree.

Kevin Love is a good rebounder because he puts himself in good position and fights for rebounds not because of luck.

That's the whole reason I get pissed off. I know he's capable, but there are a lot of times where he doesn't show up.

Porzingod.

Make it happen griff.

Or Trent.

Not sure why he'd be gone after we win our second straight title

Love needs more touches in the 4th. When we have a lead go to him down low and cut and move without the ball. He's a great passer for his position can hit cutters and open players for the three and we could try to get him going, kill clock and give lbj and kyrie a break.

I can't even imagine being this salty about a player after we win

A common theme. We are up 8-0, and you'd think half the team needs to be traded at times the way people react over our players.

Hell, go to the game thread. We have online coaches calling for the benching of players when we're up by double digits.

A lot of people were upset over the fact Lue brought Kyrie back in the game in the fourth.

As for Love. I think he's been fine, and we at times are so reluctant to involve him much in the offense. I'd love for him to get some touches in the post, just for a change in pace on the offense more than anything.

Just if anything to give LB and Irving a break from having to initiate the offense 100 percent of the time.

I think Love is going to be so pivotal against GS. Some think he doesn't fit against GS? Wrong. I think he fits in better than ever.

Green won't be on Love. He'll be on LB at least when they have their starting unit on the floor.

Durant will be forced to guard Love. We must take advantage of that mismatch, and go to the block with Love when we play GS, and he has to make them pay for it.

So, we are going to have to involve Love more on the block when we play GS IMO.

it is because we know that the warriors are 10x any of these teams, we are going to need everyone playing the best games of their lives to beat them

being in the east is a gift and a curse, easy path to finals but no adversity

Like his hustle and work on the glass, but we need him to be more forceful on offense. Could make our own lives alot easier using him more. Shot is not dropping, get in there and bang to draw fouls. Like Godfather says above we WILL NEED LOVE to produce against GS, this isn't last year's Warriors.

Nearly 20/10 all year.

15-9, 42% from three in the playoffs so far with very good defensive metrics and has been passing the ball very well. And he was only a month or so back from a knee scope. Still getting stronger.

But we have people in here still whining. After one subpar game.

I wouldn't trade him for Melo, Boston's Garbage, or even Blake right now.

If we trade Love we need a better player so either find one realistic target or shut the hell up with the trade nonsense.

Jimmy Butler or Paul George or bust and I want a big who can rebound attached in some way too.

Neither of those are even realistic. So it's not worth debating.

And if we WIN AGAIN?. I think we should consider a statue before we consider a trade.

Love has been playing great, giving it his all on defense really trying to contest shots and rebounding very well, the game is not all about scoring and there's just so many touches you can get on a team with Kyrie and LeBron & other deadly shooters all around.

Interesting stat i'v heard on the CavalaticsPodcast, Love actually led the team in contested shots this game, with 16. Love really did all the little things and played hard on defense, nothing more you can ask for imo
