We really should have moved him. I don't think he sucks. He's a good player, but what benefit is there of keeping him?

Should really embrace the tank 100 percent. He's 30. We're not going back to the glory days with a team built around a 30 year old Love.

Trade him Tristan and JR to the Lakers just for the memes

Kevin Love is the Jabrill Peppers of the Cavs.

If he does anything wrong, all the assholes are sprinting to their keyboards.

Bleacher report is suggesting a trade of live for Bismarck Lambe and unprotected 2019 pick. Thoughts ?

I agree with Kevin Love on these two quotes:

“In our commitment to helping guys grow, the guys who know how to win have to play,” Love told Vardon, in supporting Lue’s latest decision. “I think having Kyle and Channing and JR, those guys know how to win in this league, and having them will help bring the others along. So they need to play.”

Then this:

“I had to step into playing so many minutes every single night, and my bad habits had accumulated. I got here and I had to shake a lot of those, learn what it is to sacrifice,” Love said. “In practice time and teaching points and film, all that stuff that goes on away from the games, that’s where I think those guys are gonna grow.”

Man, k love might be the worst good players in the league.
If we had any other more durable " good player" to swap with love, man...... Love is always hurt. He seems to care more about being a depressed male model than a dominant athletic force.

Kevin love can or will not defend the paint. When was the last pride shattering block youseey love deliver?

I'm saying love is bad.
There are tons of other players out that are more impactful.

The problem is loves defense. I damn near shed a tear evety time an opposing team single out love. He is an easy score.

CAN HE CHANGE?! I would rather have love a little more balanced. He is a very gifted scorer and reboubr butt I eishw more of that effort and concentrate went into trying to contest shots at the rim.

Honestly i wish love had his skills with the mindset of tt

The mindset of a guy who can't even figure out which hand he wants to shoot with. The mindset of a guy who knocks up a Kardashian. The mindset of a guy who showed up only for the playoffs last year.

Dude was hurt basically the entire year, and only showing up for the playoffs is more than most of the rest of the roster can say.

I Kevin love jerk off fest from the summer is looking about as predictably bad as I expected.

Love is in place to be a facilitator and spacer on offense; a legit NBA player when much of the roster isn't ready to win NBA games. It's a bizarre belief some hold that if a guy is miscast as the #1 option but facilitates for others, he is the problem. No. The players who aren't ready yet to be on an NBA court are the problem. The hope is that with the right veterans around them, someday they will be worthy of their playing time.

Be specific, who isn't ready to see the court.

The idea that it's the young players mainly holding us down is silly.

Clarkson is on his fifth season, as is Rodney Hood and both suck more than any our younger players. Hill has been bad, Thomspon has been bad. The only two rookie or 2nd-year players that get any consistent playing time, are Cedi and Colin.

The young players lack consistency. I love the young core, but guys like Cedi and Sexton are going to make mistakes and have bad days. Perhaps I am showing my age, but I do believe the Cavs viewed Hood, Nance, Clarkson, and a few other young vets as guys with more ceiling to reach. They may or may not reach that ceiling, but I'm expressing what Altman hoped could possibly happen.

Inconsistent= not ready to see an NBA court?

Cedi has had two really good games and two poor ones. Same with Colin to a lesser extent.

Rodney Hood has had one "Good" game in a blowout loss and 3 poor games. Jordan has had some nice point totals I guess throughout the season but has been taking horribly inefficient shots, hardly ever passes, and is a bad defender. Thompson has been on par with how he has been the last two season which is consistently bad.

I just don't see how you can point to Cedi and Colin as being the main problem. I mean no shit their inconsistent one is a rookie, the other is a 2nd-year player who didn't get nearly enough playing time last year despite being on a team that was clearly half-assing the regular season, and despite the fact he was largely a productive player when he did play last year. But yeah they're the problem sure...

Id say you're right on how they viewed Hood, Clarkson and Nance.

And I'd say they were wrong. Particularly on Hood and Clarkson.

And they need to suck it up, admiit it, and move on.
