Kobe Bryant Appreciation thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Vintage #8. 60 pts on 50 shots. Alot of half assed hand shakes. Hes the last of a dying breed.

Sad that he and Shaq couldnt work it out.

I still hate you Kobe, but respect the hell out of you.

#8>#24

60 pts on 50 shots. Amazing! In fact, there were only 82 players in the NBA this year that -averaged- that sort of points per shot production or better every night.

Surely a superstar, cracking into the top 82 like that. He performed, for one glorious night, at the level of the everyday average of great players like Will Barton and Bradley Beal! Why, he almost reached kent bazemore's average production of 1.21 pts per shot!

If only some of those other 82 players could take a cue from this superstar.... It boggles the mind what sort of performances we could see!

What's even better? He somehow upstaged the Warriors winning 73. No one gives a fuck about that right now.

Thank you, Kobe. You may not have been the hero we deserved, but you were definitely the one we needed right now.
He really did. He stole the show & the spotlight from them. Unreal.

I love how he completely stole the spotlight away from Golden State!

im happy kobe did what he did tonight so people dont give a fuck about the warriors for the time being

This was pretty cool to watch, for sure. Never was a huge Kobe fan, but I respect his abilities and he was definitely one of the best to ever do it.

I had to laugh a little though. I felt like Utah gave up offensively in the fourth quarter. They were clanking some awful threes and missed a couple easy layups. What a classy group of guys :D.

Still, mad respect to Kobe for hitting some of those tough shots down the stretch. He got so hot at the end. There was a lot of pressure on him to finish strongly and he really did.

The most ironic thing? His last stat recorded was an assist!

Remember that time Kobe demanded a trade?

Or that time he stood up for Pau after that CP3 trade was vetoed by saying, "Look, either trade the guy or don't."?

Or the time he threw a bitchfit in game 7 against the Suns and refused to shoot in the 2nd half as the Lakers got smacked out of the playoffs?

I'm sorry, good on you Kobe. That was fun. Really.

Its awesome all sports channels are opening with the Kobe farewell, and not the Warriors lol.
