Yeesh. Could give two shits about Chauncey, but these last few weeks have been the opposite of the "feel good" sentiment previously surrounding the Cavs. I was getting used to and enjoying it...
 
Dan just can never get out of his own way. Not really sure why his ego makes him self-destruct. The Billups hire would've been his way of saying I can do this job with just about anybody in a backwards way of getting the credit he feels he didn't get for our championship. He doesn't understand that LeBron, who is the entire franchise, will probably leave if Dan continues to self-destruct and I honestly wouldn't blame him at all.
 
Dan is fuckin up not for missing out on Chauncey but not having a back up plan who the next Michigan candidate to interview jemele hill I heard she went to Michigan st that's right up dan's alley who else Ben Wallace, sheed, salley, rodman

the only acceptable outcome for him is to deliver a title and there's very little chance of that happening

And ofcourse the tragedy of Dan Gilbert is that his ego and overbearing attitude is what probably made him such a success on the business side. And so he will likely struggle with letting those qualities go.
