I believe the story will take a few years to come out. Someone from that 2010 Cavs team will retire and talk about it. Nobody wants to say anything just yet. It is too fresh and too many people stand to possibly be hurt. But the truth will come out. When that many people have a secret, someone always opens their mouth.

I think it plays out like this. Dan Gilbert probably wants to put an end the LeBron era. Good luck trying to find his picture anywhere in the building.

At the first preseason game, they had painted over the picture by the 4th floor elevators of the celebration when we won the eastern conference championship in 07 (pretty clearly the best moment in franchise history) - replaced by a picture of cheerleaders at a game, but the one on the first floor when we beat the wizards to win the 06 playoff series was still there. It was also replaced for the second preseason game.

That's brutal. Talk about throwing away the baby with the bath water.

Why not just air brush LeBron out of the pictures? It'd be just as subtle ...

I go to all of the games and was in the first picture they replaced - just a few pixels, but i knew it was me.
