LeBron being LeBron

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Agree completely, but he has been the best player in the league for three years so people are stupid to think he won't be the best player on the cHeat.

Dwyane Wade has already won a championship there, as the #1 guy, in his 3rd year in the league, as the Finals MVP.

LeBron has won absolutely nothing in his career.

LeBron went to the team Wade won the championship with.

Which do you think makes more sense here:

1.) That Wade, a guy who's already won a title as the #1 guy & is a Finals MVP, needed LeBron to come to Miami to be the #1 guy in order to win another title?

or

2.) That LeBron, who has won nothing in his career, needed to go to Miami, where Wade has already won a title, in order to be with that #1 guy in order to win a title?

Finals MVP or not, leaders rise... Make no mistake about it, when the Celtics won that title a couple years ago, Paul Pierce was the the finals MVP and a 10 year Celtic....

KG was the leader...

Paul Pierce also never won jack before KG got there...

^^^ True.. And neither did KG...

Anywho, I want to know where are all the whiny ass bitches that jumped my ass about Bennett Salvatore spoon-feeding Wade and the Heaters a title ?

It's really simple. You're making it too complex. Which guy is a better player? If you think it's Wade, then you are against the consensus of most of the basketball world.

You know damn well what I meant. It isn't about him being there longer. It's about him already winning the 'ship as the #1 guy there.

Did Z win a title in Cleveland as the #1 guy before LeBron got here? Did KJ win a title as the #1 guy in Phoenix before Barkley got there? Did either Barkley or LeBron win a title in their tenures in Phoenix or Cleveland? Or at all as the #1 guy?

So the Cavs last year were Shaq's team?

DWade as the number 1 guy in Miami hasn't worked very well the past few years. In fact his teams have been markedly worse than Lebron's. So what's going on there?

Your logic won't work. There's too many contradictions in it to get it to warp right. If the Heat win and Lebron is the Finals and regular season MVP--is that still Wade's team?

You are making it seem too dumb and you are not using common sense. Heat are Wade's team. He lead them to a championship. He got a ring for that team, he got the final's MVP, he is their top franchise player before the douche bag got there. LBJ is a side kick along with Bosh for that team, since they both joined Wade's team.

You are comparing a team that was tanking for FA's to a team that was a championship contender. I don't know what to say! lol

Dude they were tanking, effectively, to clear cap space for this summer. A summer that, arguably, Riley didn't know about but somehow had the foresight to clear enough room for three stars.

It's Wades team; LeBron may be the best player on the team but Wade is a leader. History has shown LeBron isn't a true leader, he just takes on the role when it's convenient.

We have to wait to see how the Heat play together before making any judgments. It could be that LeBron sets everyone up, which might make him look less like the "leader" of the team. In all likelihood though, none of them will look like an undisputed leader/best player on the team. You'll have various views, based on various viewpoints and contexts.

It will be up for debate, meaning that neither's legacy will be that of the undisputed best player on the team. That said, it is very much viewed as Wade's team right now. If its not absolutely clear LeBron is far and away the best player, LeBron very well could go down as LeSidekick (though I think he's better than Wade)

So once Lebron gets there he suddenly forgets how to play basketball and becomes a worse player? What sidekick do you know that is better than the hero they are sidekicking. I have no doubt that Wade is going to be a leader on that team. But he's not the best player on the team. That's a fact. Demonstrable unrefutable fact.

Just because you hate Lebron now, doesn't mean he's suddenly going to start sucking.

If he's dominating the ball as the main playmaker it will probably look like he's facilitating a lot of the team's success. A la Magic Johnson. I suspect he's going to play more like Magic than Scottie Pippen. Being Scottie Pippen would be a poor use of his skill set. And Wade doesn't have the post game that Jordan did to make that work in that fashion.

Makes more sense to get them out and running, and have off the ball movement springing one or the other.

There's really no blueprint for it.

Yeah, no one here is saying that.

Honestly, these two guys are going to find a way to play with each other. There will be no sidekick. If anything, you will see Wade slip to the side.

I expect many a highlights with the two of them alley ooping and I don't think we're going to be saying, "Haha... LeBron that sidekick". LeBron will be the new leader, you can bank on that. He's inevitably better and because of that, he will shine through.

This doesn't mean his legacy isn't tarnished, because it is, but LeBron ain't nobodies sidekick. Not from what I've seen the last 7 years.

So the Cavs last year were Shaq's team?

Shaq didn't win his titles in Cleveland and he came in the twilight of his career already. How does that apply?

DWade as the number 1 guy in Miami hasn't worked very well the past few years. In fact his teams have been markedly worse than Lebron's. So what's going on there?

While most won't admit LBJ had a great supporting cast, they will admit is was a hell of a lot better than DWade's. He was the team, and there is a connection to with those fans because of his ring. No matter what LBJ does in Miami, he'll always have one less ring than Wade.

Your logic won't work. There's too many contradictions in it to get it to warp right. If the Heat win and Lebron is the Finals and regular season MVP--is that still Wade's team?

I think it is almost impossible for LBJ to win MVP ever again with the cast he has. Kobe was hardly in consideration (most said KD deserved an honorable mention at least lol) last year and a lot of that has to do with marquee teammates.

Miami is DWade's town. While the Heat may become LBJ's team, especially in ESPN's view, it doesn't mean he's top dog. In the end, he still has less rings than Wade.

As we all saw in the All-Star game lol.
