LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Just listened to SAS's podcast. Do y'all think he could ever get his point across without screaming?

It sounds like he's talking about confirming the Delonte West thing, which is especially unprofessional.
Yup. I can't believe SAS actually went there. Someone really needs to check SAS. He' can't even take that people don't believe his fake sources. Imagine if he had to spend one day in Lebron's shoes?

Out of curiosity, does anyone know if that story was every true, or just trash aimed at cutting down LeBron?

I find it egotistical that SAS has a problem with LeBron having a problem with his statement

From what Iv gathered from the few athletes and famous stars Iv come in contact with a lot of them are egotistical

Why is SAS covering basketball? He really needs to be on WWE. He will saying anything to get attention.

Its true, but really has nothing to do with Lebron as much as Gloria and Delonte.

And why would SAS bring up such stuff so many years later. Sour grapes from a small minded man.

While recognizing his greatness, I don't claim to be the biggest James fanboy, but these stories about James taking over the offense... well, yeah, most of the time it's because he had to or the Cavs were going to lose the game. He is 50x better than Kyrie as a floor general. Irving made strides this year but wow, it's kind of sad that it's taken a guy with his stunning ballhandling skills so long to get even this far when it comes to running an offense.

FWIW I don't think it has anything to do with Delonte and Gloria but rather inside knowledge of LeBron planning his exit prior to the series with Boston....

I'm not breaking new ground, but Bron, Wade, and Bosh all had a plan in place in unison with Nick Arison.....the dirty laundry there is basically that some around the league still believe LeBron did enough to keep series close but didn't actually want to make his exit harder....

But collusion in the NBA is rampant and good luck trying to paint LeBron as a "fixer"....

Even if everything SAS has reported is true regarding the situation, it seems idiotic to anger LBJ when he wields enormous power presently, and looks to well into the future through Klutch when your job requires players talking to you and your employer's balance sheet is tied directly to the success of the NBA.

Seeing how ESPN spanked Bill Simmons over Goodell critiques, and their current economic plight coupled with the NBA becoming a year round phenomenon, I have to think SAS is on dangerous ground. Fox Sports has been a money pit, and no one is going to be lining up to pay talking heads if they piss off the wrong person going forward.

I hate SAS's platform on ESPN....but his ratings speak for itself. People tune in and there's a reason he has such a large breadth of channels within ESPN. Like or hate him, he has some of the highest Nielson figures of any personality on ESPN.

And that being said, he will always be fed information because he can help shape agendas. When he speaks, whether you like or hate him, his message gets heard.

And in this case, I 100% believe Stephen A got a quote from someone close to LeBron. Beyond the detail in his initial report, his dug in stance today basically confirms it. SAS is still a blowhard....but he's also still pretty well connected.
