LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Ryan Russillo with some LeBron speculation...

"All the arrows point to him bolting," said Ryen Russillo. "But I know for a fact LeBron is trying to figure out if other stars around the league want to come play with him in Cleveland first.

"I know for a fact that LeBron is still trying to find a way to make it happen in Cleveland. I just don't know if anybody wants to go there with him."

This makes sense but if Paul George stays in OKC, the Spurs don't trade Kawhi, and CP3 stays in Houston. LeBron still has Love here in Cleveland and taking the chance on Sexton for one year might be the play. He also has Gilbert's deep pockets and ~41 million in expirings. Not to mention if you get Hood, Cedi, Nance, and Zizic to get comfortable and develop, the team will play alot better.

Ignore the title.

Draft meant 0% in regards to LeBron staying. However, Broussard does think LeBron stays another year. Bronny won't have to deal with leaving for HS till another year. LeBron's people think Paul George stays in OKC.

Houston/Chris Paul are having issues. So Houston may be out of it for LeBron as well.

We've got to change coaches and hope like hell we get a coach to develop Zizic/Cedi and hope it was Lue who ruined Hood and Clarkson.

Our only hope if he stays. Keeping Lue gets us knocked out in the ECF or swept in the finals.

George would be the perfect fit. Sexton doesn't seem to have an out of control ego. I believe whatever he's asked to do he'll do it and not demand a trade.

I agree, Lue is the thing holding this team back from getting to the next level. I'm just not sure who you hire to take his place at this point.

I wonder if magic is selling a starting 5 with lakers of:

Lonzo Ball
LiAngelo Ball
LaMelo Ball
LeBron James JR
LeBron James

Head Coach: LaVar Ball

Hard not to say no to this.

If we had a better or NEW coaching staff, I could get on board with this. Zizic and Cedi showed real promise, same with Nance I think with the right coaching and system these guys could really improve.

But bringing Lue back to deploy the same approach and the same defensive principles....with his propensity to play vets and not develop young guys...that's a recipe for disaster.

100% agree, but Lebron will never sign off on it. At this point in his career he probably wants the known commodity vs some unknown guy who would take him out of his comfort zone. He is probably also sensitive to being seen as a coach killer.

Best we can hope for is Lue is forced to upgrade his assistants but he is so loyal, that is probably a pipe dream.

I would love james to stay another year.
But not at the expense of getting rid of all of youth for a leonard or kemba and watching them both leave next year

I think this team would be better next year with cedi, zizic and sexton. They have all season to get ready for the playoffs

We need to get rid of the old players like JR and Korver and they have the contract to be able to do it and bring in some younger players(not rookies, just younger) that can help

I would bring back Hood if he the money is fair

Keep Hill as the starter with sexton bringing energy off the bench instead of an older calderon

And get a god damn head coach

Windy just said on Zach Lowes podcast that at this point he thinks Lebron would rather go by himself to LA and lose then be with the Cavs. Tells you pretty much all you need to know.

I really do believe family is primary reason .. he wants his family together .. he also does not want to leave those who meant so much to him at Bronny's age

That said I honestly believe he is committed to Love for balance of Love contract and loves how the team responds to him

He stays beyond the big money year as well

I do not know where that comes from but if true then he should leave. No use being miserable
It is funny that no matter how much money you make, you can still find a way to be unhappy

Did Windy state why he believes this to be true? Makes zero sense to me....unless there is a long term plan there to acquire pieces.
