So realistically, what were LeBrons options to compete? Cause to me, going there with the idea they could lure Durant or Thompson away has a better chance of working than staying here and doing whatever it is wed have done.

To me this is what’s great about the Lakers this year, they have no shot of winning anything, LJ can put up his stats, but they are going no where. It allows you to see LJ greatness, but the bitterness of him leaving can be towards the Lakers and then sucking.

I think it is pretty clear Lebron realized that his path to 8 straight Finals in the East was in serious jeopardy and decided to bounce. I expect Kawhi or KD to join him next summer.

No, i know Lebron will win them some games and they will get better, but in the West this team is nothing more than a 6 or 7 seed.
